everyone comes back from the holiday. >> plus looking to tame those bears. the eagles are hoping to make it 10 and 1 at the linc this afternoon. chris sowers joins us with the forecast how is it looking? >> much better it's a little chilly with the breeze blowing. 46 degrees in philadelphia and allentown. remember this same time yesterday a lot of these locations were down into the mid 20s. so it's a lot warmer out there. the big difference is we have that breeze out of the west northwest. satellite 6 along with action radar quiet across the mid atlantic states and most of the northeast and the entire country looking really nice this sunday morning. it should be a nice quiet weather pattern through the workweek. a couple of mid level clouds this morning, other wise mostly sunny by the afternoon. high temperatures holding stead any the 40s.

by 2:00, 49, at that much we'll camp out there. chilly breeze blowing so these upper 40s will feel like the upper 30s to low 40s. then it turns really, really mild this week. we have three straight days coming up in the forecast where we could actually hit 0 degrees. i'll be back with just a few details in the accuweather 7-day forecast. >> a man is clinging life after he was attacked in the spring garden section. he and another man argued after the victim double parked overnight. the suspect allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the chest. two police officers were getting gas a block away and heard the man scream. they ran over and took the suspect into custody. the victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition. also new this morning, philadelphia police are looking for suspects after a man was shot in the head several times. the man was shot while sitting

in his car on the 4800 block of north 15th street at about midnight. officers say he managed to crawl about a block in an effort to seek help. the victim was rushed to einstein medical center in critical condition. >> this morning the investigation goes on into the deaths of a man and woman on a busy section of i-95 in bucks county. the woman was 32 years old and the man was 60. >> they were found dead in the northbound lanes of 95. >> reporter: state police say there is no danger to the public and they are not looking for a shooter. however they say they are looking for any witnesses who saw what happened out here saturday evening. a man and woman found dead on the on-ramp to 95 northbound. both suffered gunshot wounds and were found laying close together and found a gun nearby. a 911 call reporting a woman seen running down an access road brought a trooper to the scene in minutes. when he arrived just 5:00 p.m.

the silver suv was left with a door open on the other side of the concrete barrier on 95 northbound. the crime scene is on the on-ramp. the pennsylvania state police crime scene unit took photo evidence of the scene. troopers focused their attention down the highway looking for evidence along the concrete barrier. traffic until the crews wrapped up. at this point state police have not identified the two people that were found. annie mccormick, channel 6 action news. >> an investigation continues this morning in trenton new jersey where police officers were forced to open fire wounding a man. this was the scene on the 100 block of pennington avenue. an officer discovered one of the men had a handgun in his

waistband. there's no word on the suspect's condition. >> now today will be marked my bumper-to-bumper traffic on the roads and long lines at airports and train stations as people head back home after the thanksgiving holiday. >> this year a record number of people traveled for the holiday so if you are planning to head out today, you would better pack your patience. the action cam is live at philadelphia airport, it looks like things are going smootsly. there will be more people than usual, you will want to give yourself extra time to get through security. also if you're flying ahead, definitely call ahead to check on the status of your flight. >> tomorrow people will look like they're be working but they'll probably be busy shopping. a record number of people are expected to shop on cyber monday. experts warn it's also prime time for scammers.

issue. let's hope this game doesn't come down to a field goal because winds could gust from 20-30 miles per hour. wind chills will be into the upper 30s. 38 degrees, by 4:00 getting into the fourth quarter we're looking at mostly sunny skies and temperatures just under 50. we'll say 49 or so. right now we're sitting at a chilly 49 degrees. the number itself is actually a good 10 to 12 degrees warmer than where we were yesterday at this time. but when you're factoring in the breeze, westerly winds 12 miles per hour, gusting to 25 miles per hour, all of a sudden that 46 feels more like the 30s. your dew point is 31, pressure reading rising. 29.94 inches. again these numbers are quite a bit milder than where we were the same time yesterday but the problem is with the wind blowing it feels chilly. in philadelphia, 43 in millville, and 43 in lancaster.

the front that came through overnight is long gone. it's well out to sea what you're looking at here just a couple of instability clouds. we'll see a few high to mid level clouds this morning and it's pretty much full sunshine later this afternoon which is high pressure situated right about there begins to take over the weather pattern. it's a slow mover, once the high is in place it's going to set up shop for the week. if you're traveling out philadelphia international today, there's no weather issues out there until you get all the way out west. once you hit the west coast, the pacific northwest, there's going to be some rain, some wind all kinds of weather. but everybody else across the lower 48 looking pretty good. travel delays you don't see any across the atlantic this morning and it's nice and quiet across most of the lower 48. getting back home we're looking at mainly sunny conditions later this afternoon with a chilly breeze blowing, just a couple of

buried. this comes amid strong reaction to the attack. an imam is describing the moment of terror. linda lopez has the detail. >> reporter: so many graves and there will be so many more for the over 300 victims including 27 children in the horrifying terrorist attack on an egyptian mosque. the surviving imam recounting the moment the slaughter began. saying i heard what sounded like an explosion outside the mosque and some people came inside firing. survivors say at least two dozen militants carrying isis flags surrounded the mosque hurling explosives into the mosque and firing at everybody trying to escape through doors and windows. then they stepped inside shooting anybody who was still alive. they even shot at arriving

ambulances. no group had claimed responsibilities but the islamic state is expected. those worshipping may have followed. >> connected to the shooting we had recently, people who are worshipping killing them doesn't make any point. i feel really sad. >> egypt's military now retaliating. their air force striking hideouts and bases in the sinai peninsula. >> an accident in south jersey has brought down two utility poles and caused a hazmat situation. police say a woman slammed into two utility poles. those poles had transformers attached. one of them began to leak fluid which caused the hazmat situation. pse&g crews are surveying the

damage. the woman suffered minor injuries. >> philadelphia police are still trying to get answers on a shooting that put two men in a hospital. action news was on the scene along the 900 block of west huntington street in philadelphia. this is where two men in their 40s were shot at 4:00 in the afternoon yesterday. a dark colored porsche stopped and someone got out and fired. >> the action cam was also on the scene of a shooting in philadelphia's strawberry mansion section where a man was shot on the neck. police say the 32-year-old victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition. so far there are no suspects or motives in that shooting. >> delaware state police are mourning one of their own. suggested rodney bond junior died unexpectedly on friday. no official cause of death has been revealed but lighthouse baptist church of delaware says

on its facebook page says that he suffered a heart attack while running with his son. he was only 40 years old. may he rest in peace. >> and a grieving mother is hoping someone will come forward with information about her son's killer. >> luke williams has details. >> reporter: valerie louis brown says her son did make some poor choices during his short life. >> he was trying to get back on the right track and find his way in life. >> reporter: on thursday june 1st, the 34-year-old was in the sterberry mansion section. it was just after 4:30 in the afternoon. >> people that were out there. they told me to come and a guy name toodles had words. i don't know what it was about. but after they had words, they shook hands. >> reporter: brown believes her son thought that was that. but then the unthinkable happened. >> my soon turned to wake away, the guy who was standing next to

erupted. it started spewing ash about half mile into the air. villages are coated in a thin layer of ash. the island's main airport is operating, but some airlines have canceled or diverted flights. >> now it's time to turn to chris sowers. yesterday was wonderful if you wanted to be outside. today people will be tailgating. want to put up decoration. >> yesterday you probably could have gotten away with a t-shirt. today you will need something a bit more than that. you're probably going to need at fleece or at least a light coat. with the wind it will feel like 39, 40. it's going to be a cooler day. as we look live on sky 6 looking over the commodore barry bridge, it's a beautiful morning. it's really, really quiet. 49 degrees again is today's forecasted high temperature. the normal is 52. yesterday we topped out right around 60 degrees.

you can see the difference. 44 is the present temperature reading and when you stack that up against the normal it's quite a bit milder. the normal low for this time of the year is 36. widespread 40s to the west, everybody was down into the upper 20s the same time yesterday. it's quite a bit uwing and browns mills 39, and cape may 49 degrees. satellite 6 along with action radar, the only issue we'll see across the mid atlantic states in the northeast today will be the gusty winds, otherwise it's just a combination of sun and clouds. as we showed you earlier, if you're flying out of the philadelphia, there's no weather to speak of as you get out into the pacific northwest. we have this plume of moisture coming in off the pacific. otherwise it's really quiet across the lower 48 and it's

chilly across the northern tier states. freezing in bismarck, a little bit milder across the gulf coast states. 53 in jacksonville. here's that plume of moisture, right now it's running just north of los angeles right over northern california through oakland and san francisco and this will lift north during the course of the day. places like seattle and portland are going to get wet. even that doesn't look too terribly bad. there could be a couple of delays but that would be about it. back home we're looking at mostly sunny skies with a couple of clouds mixed in later this afternoon. by 4:30 the models not picking up much of anything at all. mainly clear overnight tonight, tomorrow morning looks really nice. mostly sunny skies, chilly though. temperatures down into the 30s and by afternoon nice and smooth, high temperatures close to 52 degrees for tomorrow and

wall-to-wall blue skies. the only issue today will be the winds gusty during the morning hours up until about 2:00 this afternoon. sustained winds 10-20 miles per hour. those winds begin to subside as we get closer to sunset. 5:00, only 10 mile per hour wind speeds and by 7:00, we're down to 9 miles per hour. so for today, numbers aren't too terribly bad but the wind will make it colder. 49 in philadelphia, 47 in reading. the low 50s across south jersey and delaware. 47 out there in lancaster. overnight tonight it's chilly but certainly nothing too terribly cold. 32 freezing mark in reading. 36 in philadelphia, 33 in millville and closer to 40 right there on the coast for places like cape may, wild wootd and atlantic city. easy as she goes, not much to talk about here. 49 degrees, breezy and cooler today. wind chills in the unner 30s,

the 27-year-old is now in the hospital and lachey is calling for justice. police say the shooter was yelling at the woman while she was walking across a roadway and when she approached his vehicle, he shot her and took off. a 15-year-old from florida who is suspected of killing his grandmother has been caught at the canadian border. logan mott was arrested friday night near buffalo. the father found the family home ransacked and police later discovered the grandmother's body in a shallow grave in the home's backyard. >> argentina's navy insists this morning that a missing submarine was in good condition. a spokesman says it had passed a routine check just two days before it set sail. meanwhile a near weejian ship is joining for the search. the arge teenian subvanished 10 days ago with 44 crew members on

the only issue is really the winds that will be gusting out from the 95 corridor from boston down to dc. we could see gusts as high as 30 miles per hour. outside of that we're looking at a combination of sun and clouds. the travel report, if you're traveling along i-95 northbound into new york city it looks okay. southbound along i-95 through dc and baltimore, everything looks all right. and if you're heading north up to scranton, everything looks nice and clear. windy, that will be the key word this afternoon. >> a teenaged girl is making teddy bears that are dressed in the uniforms of fallen police officers. the families of fallen new york city officers received the bears at a special ceremony. the creator of the bears is the daughter of a florida police sergeant. at first some families had concerns about giving her uniforms but not anymore. >> in memory of mark.
