roy moore is voted in. women accused president trump and they're expected to appear together today to call for a congressional investigation. they're uniting for the first time to share details about their experiences. president trump has denied the 's but at least one member of his administration, u.n. ambassador nikki haley now says the president's accusers should be heard. >> women who accuse anyone should be heard. they should be heard and they should be dealt with and i think we heard from them prior to the election and i think any woman who has felt violated or felt mistreated in any way, they have every right to speak up. >> a new poll finds 70% of americans believe congress should investigate sexual harassment allegations against the president. three democratic senators including bernie sanders say the president should resign over the allegations. we turn now to a major setback for firefighters in the west. the largest wildfire burning in southern california has now spread to 359 square miles. that makes it the fifth largest fire on record there with no end

in sight. new evacuations are being ordered as the flames march towards santa barbara. 18,000 hopes now threatened including those of celebrity likes ellen degeneres, oprah winfrey and rob lowe. air quality is also another major concern. leanne suter from our answer station kabc reports on the race to evacuate. >> putting together 30 years of drawings, rolling them up and putting them in here. >> reporter: jim melnick never thought he would have to load up all his work into his pickup but he also never thought the thomas fire would reach his santa barbara home. >> i'm saving my life's work here right now. it's crazy times. >> reporter: a large swath of the seaside city now being evacuated. those up in mission canyon at extreme risk. >> we almost lost our house so the fire came within six inches of the house. >> reporter: the fast-moving fire ripping through 56,000 acres in a day. the explosive blaze the fifth

largest wildfire in california history. charring more than 359 square miles, larger than new york city. >> it's just amazing how fast it's gone and we know living in this canyon that it's a scary spot but we've hoped that we would escape this one. >> reporter: officials say the fire is now moved into some areas that have never burned in recorded history. some of the dead and dry fuel over 50 feet deep. >> come on, monty, up. >> reporter: those scrambling to evacuate grabbing whatever they can. >> for me it's my computer and records and that type of stuff but beauty of it we have our rv and that rv is ready to go any time any place. >> reporter: they have now evacuated. officials say we are just 44,000 acres away from this fire becoming the largest wildfire in california history. in santa barbara, leanne suter, abc news. a different story on the other side of the country where winter has arrived.

days after a rare snowfall the south is dealing with black ice this morning. in georgia some schools are closed or opening late and some homes remain without power. farther north a fedex truck ran off the road in washington county, virginia levering the trailer hanging off an overpass. the driver is okay. and heavy snow blanketed new england. this suv skidded into a pond in winchendon, massachusetts. lake-effect snow pounding upstate new york where the buffalo bills won their game sunday in overtime or what some called snowvertime because there was so much time they could barely see the ball. great for snow angel, though. mother nature clearly has been busy so now a closer look at your weather for this monday morning. >> good morning, we are looking at red flag warnings persisting here in southern california. in fact, now they're extended through monday evening. so the fire danger remains high

we're back with heart-stopping video of a tightrope walker who took a tumble 200 feet above paris. his misstep came tlurg during a 2200-foot walk. you can see him dangling upside down but gets back up and finishes that test run then later completed the walk in one shot on live television. in rome this tightrope walker managed to become the first person to cross the tiber river on a tightwire. the rain and wind so bad he thought about stopping midway through but powered through that 450-foot walk. benjamin netanyahu is discussing the violent aftermath of president trump's decision where he recognized jerusalem as israel's capital. now, the protests and resulting clashes have left hundreds of palestinians injured and now palestinian officials have confirmed they will not meet with vice president mike pence when he visits this month. a spokesperson for the vice president calls that decision

unfortunate. back in this country a fourth victim has come forward as police in detroit search for potential serial shooter targeting vehicles on highways. all of the shootings were early thursday. three drivers escaped unharmed. one was wounded in the leg but managed to limp to a gas station to get help. police are looking for a gray or silver car that may have been involved. quite a few questions being raised about the working conditions at some amazon delivery drivers are facing. drivers who work for subcontractors are being forced to deliver more than 200 packages each day without bathroom breaks often driving 12 hours a day exceeding the legal limit. amazon says it's committed to ensuring its independent delivery providers treat workers fairly. today is green monday. in other words, get ready to spend and hopefully save some green with some holiday shopping deals. not as popular as cyber monday but still plenty of sales. amazon, target, walmart and ebay
