signals working again. dann cuellar channel 6 "action news." >> stay lady of any changes to the wintry forecast and check constantly updated maps from storm tracker 6 live through the weekend by visiting 6abc.com/weather or by downloading the 6abc app. a delaware state trooper has been placed on administrative leave following a deadly shooting in wilmington. officials tell "action news," the 37-year-old trooper tried to conduct a traffic stop on the 30-year-old man at 4:30 p.m. yesterday afternoon. they say the man drove away dragging the trooper with the vehicle that's when investigators say the trooper shot at the suspect. the trooper was treated for non-life threatening injuries. firefighters in montgomery county battled a tough three-alarm blaze. chopper 6 hd over the scene of the 400 block of plymouth road in bluebell. it took three hours to bring the blaze under control. when crews arrived they found heavy smoke and flames coming from the basement and the first

floor. one firefighter suffered minor injuries in the blaze, the cause is under investigation. a community in montgomery county come together following a deadly fire that killed two boys earlier this week. 9-year-old brian lukens and 6-year-old parker were killed in a fire. a fund raiser was held at the schwenksville firehouse. two uncles were there and watched with gratitude. >> words can't compress what everybody is doing. >> -- express what everybody is doing. >> my kids were very close to theirs. >> reporter: officials say the fire was caused by an electrical fair of an extension -- failure

the ground from their highrises. the fire out in los angeles is out of control and growing large. the thomas fire is the fourth largest in california history nearly 1,000 structures have been destroyed. the fire burning near san diego has caused damage to homes and crops. four farmers lost their entire orchards of avacado trees. agricultural officials are calculating the damage, but estimate 100 acres of farmland have been damaged by the lilac fire. wow. >> it's the second snowfall this season. >> reporter: third. >> is that normal? >> reporter: considering last year we didn't have snow at all. what a week it's been for the snow lovers and the folks who love the cold weather like me. let's get you outside, spring

after firefighters pulled them from freezing waters in northern illinois. his dog chewy fell through the ice and the man tried to get him from his kayak.
