sunshine today. all of that moisture with the warm front misses us up to the north and mostly cloudy skies and perhaps a few peeks of sunshine and milder though. temperatures close to 10 degrees warmer than today. 53 degrees and the snow across new england and then we get a cold front pushing in. and what this will do on saturday is bring us waves of rain ahead of the front and mild, 59 degrees and icing across new england and behind that front temperatures drop back into the 40s for christmas eve and future tracker 6 showing late christmas eve night this is when a short wave a piece of energy like a rolls in from the west. this brings us moisture late sunday night at 11:00 and could begin as brief rain before a quick change over and all snow in the wee hours of the morning and really quick. out of here by midmorning but the timing is perfect if you want to see a little bit of snow on christmas morning.
