travel turnout. let's get a check of the accuweather forecast. everybody wants to know what to expect for the holiday weekend and today the rush is on. >> reporter: they can expect a little bit of everything this weekend, it's almost spring like today with temperatures in some locations in south jersey and delaware, hitting 60 degrees or warmer. tomorrow morning, it's colder and christmas morning you might have snow on the ground. allentown, 38 degrees. philadelphia, 45. millville, 45. cape may, already pushing 50. as we take a look at the radar here, you can see lots of rain pushing through. we'll see periods of rain today, this this is the first of several rounds pushing through throughout the day. lancaster moderate rain indicated by the darker shades of green. this steadier batch is pushing north of philadelphia into new york city. drying around the delaware bay. cloudy and damp, high of 59 in

hospital after she was shot in southwest philadelphia. police tell "action news," the shots were fired in the 5900 block of springfield avenue after 11:00 p.m. last night. the girl's father was holding her when the man approached them and opened fire. the little girl was hit in the leg. she was taken to st. christopher's hospital and listed in stable condition. the gunman ran from the scene and no word of a motive. this morning we're learning about what happened during the nearly 9 hour standoff in north hampton county. officers responded to the 1500 block of dennis street in bethlehem at 1:00 p.m. after getting reports of a woman lying in the front yard. when the officers arrived, they say 36-year-old justin kepert opened fire. he called his dad and said he shot his mother and police. police declared a critical situation there, residents were told to shelter in place, nearly nine hours later, troopers

entered the home, they found him dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. the shelter in place order has been listed. there were no others injuries reported. police shot and killed a gunman who fired at police in several locations in harrisburg. the 51-year-old shot at capitol police officer around 4:00 p.m. yesterday afternoon. they say he shot a pennsylvania state trooper a short time later, the gunman was killed during a shootout with local and state police. investigators say he was armed with two handguns, authorities have not released a motive for this attack. the trooper who was shot suffered non-life threatening injuries. now to the incredible story out west where an alleged christmas terror plot in san francisco was foiled. fbi arrested former marine recruit everitt aaron jameson accused of plank an attack on fisherman's wharf, a popular

2:30 a.m. the vehicle rolled on its side. fire crews removed the driver and transported him to temple hospital. a nine hour standoff in north hampton county ended last night and shelter in place order listed. officers responded to bethlehem around 1:00 p.m. yesterday afternoon after getting a report of a woman lyiront yard. when the officers arrived they say 36-year-old justin kepert opened fire repeatedly. he called his dad saying he shot his mom and police. when troopers entered the home they found him dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. no other injuries reported. chopper 6 hd over the scene of an accident in harrison township southbound route 55 near ellis mill road. one car left the road and

crashed into the trees. the driver was pronounced at the scene. no word on what led up to the crash. president trump is waking up in mar-a-lago this morning after celebrating a victory on capitol hill. he signed the gop tax plan into law and calls it a christmas present for the middle class. most will see the taxes go down, the permanent cuts will benefit corporations. a federal courts panel ruled friday that president trump exceeded his authority with a travel ban. that means the ban involving 6 muslim majority countries will remain in effect, this is the third time the 9th circuit has ruled against a version of this travel ban. united nations city council

honeybrook and lincoln and lancaster county. some of it turns heavy in southern and eastern portions of lancaster county. all this is sliding east at about 20 to 25 miles per hour. there's the generally movement everything moving east, northeast. this is the next round here, there is more wet weather off the screen west of washington, d.c. that will swing through later this afternoon. 59 degrees is the forecasted high. it won't surprise me if we hit 60 or 61. started out at 45 which is warmer than the normal high of 43 degrees. visibility is a bit of an issue for some. other locations not much of a problem. ten miles in reading and millville. no problems there. down to a mile and a half in lancaster. 4 in reading. 1.3 in trenton. they are socked in at the jersey shore, one mile in wildwood and.8 in atlantic city at the
