binghamton and 8 in buffalo. and some arctic air continues to flood in from the north and west. that is where we are going. take a look at these temperatures. right now 30 below zero in and around the hudson bay. pickle lake 20 below and 5 in travers city. and the arctic air is coming in a straight shot from canada and at least at this point aside from the temperatures it is dry. we are not tracking storms but there is clouds off to the north and west and flurries in charleston west virginia and parts of pittsburgh and that could clip southern areas with a flurry or two. as we get into the evening hours, temperatures tumble into the mid-20s from 7:00 until 11:00. and 20s are the overnight low with clouds entering the forecast and as we go through the day tomorrow. these are the temperatures not windchills and blustery and cold and clouds in the morning and more sunshine in the afternoon and highs topping off in the mid

closely. >> a massive police response ensued offering backup and armored vehicle able to save the police officer and the neighborhood remained on lockdown and hours later the police moved in and found the shooter dead. he fired at least 100 rounds at police. >> tactical members were able to view him while motionless in the basement. at this point they affected entry into the residence and found him dead of an apparent self inflicted gunshot wound to the head. >> he was identified and believe he shot his mother identified as mary louise moyer 11 times, leaving her to die in the front yard. and after moving in investigators found the amount of firearms and ammo the suspect had at his disposal. something he was not suppose to have. >> and ensuing search found that he had access to two russian assault arrives and

suspect. and the suspect slammed into another vehicle. and when the officer approached the suspect police say he made threatening motions and when the officer shot the man in the chest. and the suspect was taken to the hospital in critical condition. and now they believe it's the end of the a day long crime spree. we'll have more at 6:00. and fire heavily damaged a home in camden county. chopper 6 hd was over the scene on sapling way in atco. it was just a one alarmer but you see the damage it caused. >> and chopper 6 hd over the charred rubble of to homes in slaughter beach, delaware. a christmas night fire ripped through several homes destroying these two and badly damaging two others and went to four alarms before firefighters got the upper hand and view captured the intensity of the flames and nobody was injured. the state fire marshall is
