monica malpass. the big story is breaking news from the germantown section where an officer shot a suspect in the head relating to a murder from last thursday on the 1800 block of east atlantic avenue. plain clothed officers spotted the vehicle from that homicide and pulled it over. the suspect ran down one of the officers as they approached.at led to a chase when the suspect's hyundai crashed into parked cars. >> we have an officer in the hospital in stable condition. the suspect in critical condition at an area hospital and investigators are trying to piece everything together. we have the suspect vehicle on location having crashed into two parked cars. we have not searched the vehicle yet. >> when the suspect got out of the crashed car he had his hands in his pocket and refused to follow the officer's command
