philadelphia. single ticket lows for the next two nights. believe it or not as cold as that sounds it's getting colder next week. i'll have that for you in just a few minutes. alicia. >> we have breaking news from yeadon, delaware county, fire has forced dozens of residents of an apartment complex into the bitter cold, the action cam was at the scene the forest creek apartments on 300 block of north front street. residents heard an explosion and noticed smoke. >> around 2:30 a.m., i started hearing a lot of loud noises near my window, basically sounded like fireworks, and i am just thinking nothing of it. the lights went out, i'm like maybe there's something wrong with the electricity. i began to light candles in my kitchen and all of a sudden my neighbor is banging on my door, i'm like something has got to be

wrong. it's like it's an electrical fire. >> the generator went. >> nothing warned us, no smoke detecters, nothing went off. >> firefighters quickly arrived, they ripped open part of the roof searching for flames and they found smoke. crews evacuated the buildings and cut off power to the complex's other buildings that means no heat. the red cross said 84 apartments have been evacuated here, many are it is not -- residents were huddled under blankets. investigators say a at transforr box mounted on the front of buildings shorted out. that cause thed the -- caused the fire. firefighters got to work in hunting park always temperatures fell below freezing. the water they used quickly turned to ice.

>> more on our breaking news out of yeadon, delaware county. fire has forced dozens of residents of an apartment complex into the bitter cold. the action cam was at the forest creek apartments on the 300 block of north front street. residents of the buildings heard an explosion and noticed smoke. firefighters ripped open part of the roof and found only smoke. they cut off power to the complexes' other buildings. 84 apartments were evacuated. investigators say a transformer box mounted on the front of buildings d shorted out causing the fire. a fire in the kensington
