temperatures following it. >> no kidding. it's a two fold problem. stormtracker 6 live double scan shows us that we are dry. taking a look at sky 6 hd, we have conditions ripe for snow making up in spring mountain and other ski resorts in the poconos. you see folks taking advantage of the nice sunshine with clouds out there. and that snow is sitting there and don't have to make anymore today with temperatures well below freezing and we are overall better today than the last several days. 27 right now and winds are light and the windchill is the same as the temperature. we are not reporting one because the winds are not really a factor. winds are colder up north in allentown 18 degrees and 20 in reading and the numbers should come up 6 or 7 or so and philadelphia 27 degrees and 29 in millville and 30 in cape may. not much wind. we had sunshine earlier this morning and now we see more of a sun and clouds mix.
12:25 pm
and the next couple of hours the additional clouds will continue to pull in ahead of the nor'easter tonight. sun to clouds in the lehigh valley. not as harsh with a high of 28 and winds not that strong. and down the shore high of 34. and philadelphia a high of 31. sun giving way to clouds and not as bitter than the last couple of days and winds 5 to 10 miles per hour overall not bad. snow arriving after midnight down the shore. 23 degrees is the low overnight and you can see how the winds start to build in the overnight hours with the approach of the nor'easter, it looks like in most models in on the coast at midnight as soon as 11:00 somewhere in there. some models including the rpm model don't have it pushing far to the west. and getting on out of here. most agree with the euro putting snow as soon as 4:00, 5:00 a.m.
12:26 pm
across philadelphia and pushing it all wait up to the lehigh valley and maybe to the poconos by 9:00. notice how there is a sharp cut off where it is snowing and where it is. that could wind up close toward our neck of the woods. we'll see how that plays out. you notice how the darker bands with heavier snow down the shore. and 1:00 this model has this starting to pull away from philadelphia and pretty much moving out by mid to late afternoon there is still disparity for model estimates for snowfall. and some are rising a bit. gfs 5.7 in philadelphia and 1.5 on the euro and the nam 9 patients 4 inches we think closer to the 3 than the 1 and when another model comes out later today and this evening we may adjust the totals. would i bank at 1 to 3 in the

center and a lot of this on the ground in time for the morning commute and cutoff much less north and west. 3 to 6 and now adding a band at the shore that could go over 6 inches and that will definitely make travel difficult forever the morning. it's about location and a sharp cut off from the west. zero some places to the west and jump up to the 6 or more. and any change in the track with any nor'easter can definitely make for a big changes in snowfall amounts. i would encouraging you to keep your eyes on the forecast and what to plan for for now. and bump it up as the new models come in. 34 today and not as harsh and wrapping up in the afternoon and high of 29 windy and raw. speaking of which friday and saturday, arctic air comes in around the departing system and highs of 17 on friday, and 15 on saturday, and overnight lows near the record lows 4 and 5,
