the news about the warmup, man. >> reporter: i've stood out here all yearlong up to this point, i've been shivering i've been freezing cold, winds whipping across city avenue. it's absolutely balmy. there's a breeze, but not a cold breeze as we've seen in the past. as we look at the temperatures right here, keep in mind some 12 times this month we started out with temperatures in the single digits and teens. right now we're 30 degrees. allentown, 28. atlantic city, 30. dover, 29. lancaster, 30. cape may, 33. we'll see a ton of sunshine this afternoon, as well. as we look at satellite and radar, waking up to cloud cover to the north, northern portions of the lehigh valley and the poconos. everybody else we have clear conditions. that would be the trend throughout the day. sunny skies, extremely mild, 56 degrees. normal for this time of the year is 40 we're about 16 degrees

above seasonal averages. now, the wind will pick up later on. even though we're forecasting 56 we'll have a feels-like temperatures in the mid 40s. it will not feel like 56 degrees from time to time. you get the idea, even these windchills are much, much better than the single digits and teens. mild weekend, overall. 50s today. 50s tomorrow. comfortable for the birds and then rain moves in monday night into tuesday, once again, temperatures are in the 50s for that. no mixed precipitation, no snow expected with our next storm system. i'll be back along in just a few minutes, i'll let you know how the 50s last in the exclusive accuweather seven-day forecast. >> hope the 50s last a while. all right folks we know you're counting one day away from big game day. eagles head coach doug peterson has been busy all week long getting the birds ready to face off against the vikings.

♪ ♪ morning, 6:13 a.m., one person is dead after flames consumed the home in the lehigh valley it happened on the 3700 block of iron stone road in bethlehem around 9:00 p.m. the flames were so intense, firefighters had to back off and take defensive position. take a look at this, this enormous sinkhole is keeping crews busy in the fishtown section of philadelphia.

there could clouds throughout the lehigh valley through mid morning, a lot of this will thin out. pattern overall stays nice and cold up here north of the u.s./canadian border. we'll see a southwesterly breeze this weekend keeping a smile. most of next week even this pocket of cooler air that slides in here wednesday and thursday, the temperatures are above average with that we're not talking about teens or 20s or anything close to that, we're talking about highs in the 40s with this little pocket here. next weekend we're in the 50s again. we have the next two weeks coming up with very mild temperatures when you stack it up against the normal. 56 degrees is the forecasted high. 55 in wilmington and dover. 50 in allentown. toms river, 54. mostly sunny, breezy and mild winds out of the west/southwest at 10 to 20 miles per hour. overnights tonight, 34 in philadelphia. we can handle that. reading an lancaster. 32. allentown, 31.
