>> yeah, i think the big thing is you know we were ready for the challenge, our guys didn't go out there and play with fear and aggressive and wanted to play and make some great plays and it didn't change coach pederson's game playing and our mentality never changed we were going to go out there and play and we executed nice. >> any question and how do you do the different plays? >> in sports everything is a process. anything you do in life when you work at it it's a process and you can't give up. everyone wants to win it's a bad outing and everyone want to be critical and i get it it's part of media and i understand but as players going back to the special thing is no one in the locker rook doubted me everyone kept believing and working and kept getting more reps in

practice and wanted more games and it's a rhythm thing and you have to keep working and not always have a great day and down the road i will play a bad game again that is the game of football and going out and competing at a high level and shouldn't get down and learn from those experiences and look forward to working through them because that is a beautiful thing when you look back at the journey and realize it wasn't always great, there was bumps in the road but you were able to overcome them with the people around you and believe in you and love you and that is a special thing whereas in this moment that i reflect on, there are so many people in my life that have been there for me my family, my wife, my parents, my in laws, my brother in laws, sister in laws, sisters i mean in this moment i reflect on them and so grateful for them, grateful for the family i have and what is so special about moments like this because you have the opportunity to reflect and be grateful.

yeah, i mean, i have not had time to really comprehend what is going on to be honest. i don't know if i ever will it's just unbelievable when i was up on that stage that is something you dream about as a kid and you know just being the magnitude of the game and for us going out as a team and put together a great performance i mean that is something really special. >> in the game there was a moment where you met doug on the sideline and he said something to you what did he say on the line? >> coach pederson is an unbelievable coach to play for and you know in that moment it simply is proud of me, proud of us, i'm proud of him, and it's been a journey it has been a crazy journey with what has gone on and if you look at it in detail all the obstacles and you know all the injuries, everything, y'all know it and

you write about it all the time it's a testament to the touches we have the people at the nova care facility all the players and in that employment it's just to embrace and coach pederson dropped it in and the only coach who flew down to texas and woshlgd me out and i was worked up one team and it was by doug pederson and the team took a chance on me and the win is something very special. >> you said something in the locker room doubted you, how did you know that? >> you can just feel it, when people doubt you you can feel it. we are all human and we can keep it real when someone doubts you you know. the guys i play with they know i would eventually keep working and know me as a person and know me as a player and we just kept working and kept getting extra routes and kept working on the little things and kept talking through everything and that is a testament to them and i'm

coach like that? >> love it and he has such a great feel for the game and played quarterback for a long time and coached for a long time, he can feel it and that is keeping a team off balance and working for us and the rhythm of the offense football is a game of rhythm and tonight the down stupid opened up and we were able to execute that and every week it changes and last week you talked how short it was and that is the game plan and not every single defense in the nfl plays the same way so the defense was different than last week and we will face another defense this next week. >> one of the first people to greet you when you came off the field what did he say and what did he meant in terms of game plan and being in your corner? >> i mean everything. carson and i worked together this entire year, you know, and he is a huge reason we are in this position and you know it's been awesome just being around

him and he has handled this thing amazing and continues to be such a great leader in the locker room when we go through the game plan and watch film and go through everything he is extremely intelligent player and listen to what he says and then you embrace and it's been crazy and a long year and we work together every single day long hours and you don't really have to say anything a hug goes a long way. >> some guys have said unconventional coaches you have played for. >> i mean i played for some amazing coaches, doug is an unbelievable play caller but the thing, you know, it's hard to like rank because there are so many great coaches but he is definitely up there and i know he would probably tell you too we have a great staff that works with him to create these game plans and then he does a great job of executing when to call but our staff is unbelievable at game planning putting us in position whether it's the run or

pass or screen game whatever it may be attention to details are unbelievable we go in a game doing 100% confident because of our staff and the work they put in the long hours they do to get the game plan to us to go out and execute and that is a lot being an athlete and trusting. >> the flea flicker whose reaction? >> try not to do that and smile and i don't know if i have ever run a flea flicker so it was my first time so i tried not to smile when you are a quarterback and can do a play like that it's exciting and sometimes they go really bad so i'm just glad it worked and we were able to get a touchdown out of it. >> the quick fix you played more than a couple of games was in the wildest? >> this place gets loud and i said it in a press conference the fans are amazing and it's so hard when you are opposing and

conjugate to celebrate the eagles going to the superbowl and i want to set the scene here just over here you can see they put trash trucks to block off the intersection, and they have done this every street and every part of this intersection here to really give people here a safe space to celebrate back over here you can see they have a heavy police presence they also have police that are on top of some of the buildings to get a birds eye view of what is happening on the ground and also put crisco on a lot of the utility poles light posts to present people from actually trying to scale them and a lot of excitement out here, earlier this week a lot of businesses got notices from the police district saying hey if you guys are closed make sure you are boarded up if you have trash cans and flower pots bring them in and if you have surveillance turn them on and want to make sure the people have the same

space to celebrate the eagles and we have seen droves and droves of people out here especially from our chopper you can hear you can see and every now and then you have these fireworks going off and the fans and the fight song which really has become the anthem now on philadelphia city streets people from children all the way up to adults really out here celebrating because this is such a jubilant the last time they came out to celebrate like this is when the phillies were in the world series and people hoping they can pull it off again and back to you. >> part of the story would be garbage trucks and crisco thank you christie. action reporter trish hartman has been at chicken and pizza in south philadelphia where fans are realishing. >> people said if you don't have

a ticket to the game this is the next place to rock in celebration and we are taking a look and you can see the rowed on the second floor balcony here the crowd is starting to come back in. we spoke with the manager here, he says this place was packed to capacity at a thousand people during the game, people filed out pretty quickly after the game was over and headed out to broad street but starting to trickle in and folks coming from the link it was a celebratory atmosphere during the game one touchdown after another brought on another dance party from the crowd. extra security was brought in to help manage the crowds and the lines to get in here we are told there were no major incidents even with a few vikings fans in the crowd and what we saw were civil. now fans here say they are happy to be the under dogs going into the superbowl and tired of being disrespected and over joyed that the philadelphia eagles are headed to the superbowl, many

has ten rushing touchdown and playoff and most among active players eagles up 14-7 they never let up later in the second a turn over leads to the third and ten foles seems alshon jeffrey wide open 53 yards eagles up 14 and guess what they are up 17 at the half and doug pederson does not let up and how about the flea flicker and foles says he was trying not to smile when they called in the play and 41 yards and eagles score 31 straight points and the celebration and route is on in the fourth as they put it away foles back to jeffrey eagles score 30 unanswered to win 38-7 a 31 point win the largest in eagles playoff history they are going to the superbowl for the first time in 13 years that deserves a gatorade bath.

patriots and looking good against the jaguars and do not get out the brady bunch and in the end zone stays in and former eagles practice squad player patriots win 24-20 and going to the tenth superbowl and face the eagles the defending champs going for the third superbowl title in the last four years they will meet the eagles two weeks from tonight in minneapolis the home of the vikings of all places the eagles are going to minnesota. >> the eagles are 3-0 against the vikings in the post season. >> all three times they have made the superbowl they beat the vikings along the way and now get the patriots again what a turn of events. >> and jeff very cool. >> thanks jeff.
