of rain and one of the last spots to clear out this evening. looking live at the weather center and the clouds have quickly escaped our region here and the clear sky now that will remain the case overnight tonight. and a different scene this evening compared to just 12 hours ago. as we look at temperatures, 55 now philadelphia and 53 trenton and 54 in millville. 50s down to the the south and east. for reading and allentown, the temperatures dropping quickly here this evening, as we look at the profile here we start in the 50s and by 10:00 in the evening. into the 40s for philadelphia and sliding to 42 degrees at 1:00 in the morning. and tumble back to the 30s for the city. and near freezing in most of our suburbs. as we look to the the temperatures in the 60s exceptional for late january. the typical high 40 degrees. we had the days close to 20 for

high temperatures and this month we are as close to 20 degrees below normal and now 20 degrees above normal for the next few days. again that is now behind us. as we look at stormtracker 6 live double scan a clean sweep here and all the showers are off the coast and we are clear sailing for the rest of the week. the system really racing up and winding up to the north and east. very quickly here with the heavy rain east ofton and cape cod and nantucket and the aisles there and winds from the westerly direction and eventually from the northwest and that drives in that winter feeling. and in fact that comes in overnight. and winds 10 to 20 miles per hour under the clear sky and 22 in the suburbs and 36 for center city. and we look at the temperatures tomorrow. it doesn't look that bad. it doesn't look bad for millville. and 40 allentown but we have the winds to contend with and doesn't feel like the 40s but actually feels like the 30s.

breaking case authorities say it was inside of that home where the little boy was beaten to death and now two people are charged including his mother and the motive spilled cereal. >> the montgomery county district attorney's office says that the little boy's mother lisa smith and her boyfriend kei keith spanked him to death and are charged with assault and attempted murder and other charges. authorities are awaiting the autopsy and other charges could be filed. >> i'm heart broke and and we live here and couldn't do anything to protect the child makes me sick. >> when you hear the child is dead -- it's crazy. >> i knew there was a little kid that lives there but that is just -- i'm shocked and processing. according to court records the little boy became unresponsive and his eyes rolled back and he
