the police department hopes everyone is on their best behavior but they are making preparations just in case. they'll keep an eye on surveillance cameras across the city and monitor social media withs well. police are beefing up their presence around bars and restaurants where big crowds are expected. several restaurants plan to serve drinks in plastic. crews will grease utility poles in hot spots to discourage fans from climbing them.
