agholor and cox and this is real guys superbowl week is finally upon us. >> it hit us when we saw the touchdown and saw the guys arriving here and hit the players too and talking about this and the city has been waiting for this for 13 years so forget the fact that it's 15 degrees, we don't care, we are excited so the players do not care the cold what cold let me show you the scene and what it looked like for the eagles and the planes touched down and the buses at team headquarters and this is where they will be all week long as they have team meals and stuff like that and unpacked their bags the guyed headed inside and checked in and something interesting about the hotel it's attached to the largest mall on the planet the mall of america i think it's the planet we will see and it's the mall of america and so the guys headed out for some shopping including the whole group of quarterbacks nick foles carson

greet them at the bottom of the stage is ron and jaws with warm hats and warm hugs to hand out, and psyching up the team for what will be a week to remember. it has been said the eagles waited years to get back to the super bowl and minute ap police has been preparing for years and talking about the massive stadium where the game will take place it's a one billion facility been in the making this time and ready for the superbowl and of course it takes a lot of planning and preparation and our cameras were out today at the stadium as they work to get the last details into place they are setting up extra spaces and areas for the media that is expected to be in town. this is a gigantic under taking hosting the superbowl the nfl has taken over what is the vikings home and decks it with all things superbowl security is a top priority barricades

strategically aligned law enforcement keeping watch from the ground and also from the sky and we talked with people out and about today the locals and the visitors and all they can say is they are in awe. oh, it's incredible. i've been hearing reading little bits in the paper. a lot and the security fun to watch all the i don't know if they are guardsmen but they have their rifles on the mall. >> it's amazing, i've been in minnesota my whole life and we had a superbowl here i think in 92 maybe it was, i was pretty young then and don't think it's like it is now and it's pretty awesome and fun to bring my family here and look at the crazy stuff that is going on it's pretty fantastic. >> fantastic maybe an under statement this moment is huge and minneapolis saying it's ready for the big moment in the spotlight. >> it's frigid as you said here. >> you feel your hands. >> figuratively heating up here as we get closer to the game and mentioned the eagles are in town

♪ we are following developing news tonight the investigation into gunfire along the city avenue area in windfield heights shots rang out at 8:00 tonight police say people in two cars were apparently shooting at each other however some of the bullets went astray hitting a door at the city avenue hilton a number of shell casings were also recovered there no one was injured but people around the area heard these gunshots including some people here in our newsroom as we are right adjacent to that hilton there so certainly a lot of concern but again the good news no injuries reported tonight. six people injured in a fire in north philadelphia tonight police say this fire was intentionally set and they have made an arrest the fire broke out just before 6:30 at a group home on north 15th street and all injured are in stable condition no word on who was taken into custody or whether charges have been filed.

showers at the shore temperatures in the still 40 degree range as we get into the evening hours, temperatures have not dropped that much because of the clouds and philadelphia south and east in the 40s but the little bit of break of the cloud cover that's why you are dropping some of the temperatures in the 30s once you clear the clouds you can kind of throw any of that heat generated in the atmosphere up into space and that drops in temperatures pretty quickly there is the front along the shore and again you can see the rain hugging the shore and energy to the north and west that rides through monday night and tuesday to bring some late snow showers future tracker tomorrow are the clouds inland and showers along the shore tomorrow afternoon they clear out tomorrow night and before that energy arrives here late monday night and tuesday, in fact, low pressure develops and this extra spoke of energy that passes by on tuesday will bring the quick hit of on-and-off snow showers through much of the day on tuesday very minor accumulations could be some slick spots but the ground

when the buses pulled up at the team hotel the eagles fans were here and i actually talked to them and a lot of them were minnesota transplants and live here from philadelphia and once the guys got off the buses and headed inside and got packed and they headed into the mall for a little shopping and i caught up with one of those guys jay ajayi he was wearing killer gold chains and traded in the season and huge part of the offense as they get set to play the game on the world's biggest stage what does it feel like to be at the superbowl finally? >> it's a good feeling just like another business trip. get it done. >> and the shopping trip. >> yeah and early in the week you know before it gets serious. >> reporter: has it hit you now you see the superbowl signs and you are at the hotel? >> it's a pretty cool experience and everything so should be fun, it should be a good time when my family and stuff get here.
