we are meeting people from the delaware valley in here for the game. we talked to the stoles family from burlington county, new jersey, taking it all in. >> we have season tickets in our family since the 70s and we enjoy it. it's a family thing and i brought my son out here. i promised if they made it we would come out. >> and i wanted to come here and experience the super bowl it's awesome to be here. >> it is pretty awesome to be here don't you think. i'm loving it inside here today. >> everybody is having fun. we got in on the spirit of competition unfolding here. take a look. sharrie and i going head to head in the obstacle course here. one of the many events underway and opportunities that fans have to test their skills and agility. and whether they could survive in the nfl. i'll tell you now sharrie beat me in this one.

>> i wish we could still talk about what you did at the nfl experience. >> that was a whole lot of fun. second day of practice for the philadelphia eagles, as we get closer to the super bowl and today was the last official media gathering with coaches and players zbri sense the players are not too upset about that. they are excited to get rid of us. i was sure today we would see players with their game faces on instead we saw this, players learning the macarena. and that may not be a bad thing. eagles kept things loose all season. they are not letting the magnitude of the moment get to them. in their first practice they were sloppy and they say that is a good thing. >> it's typical you have, you know, not quite as crisp as practice. but you know for me it was about talking and going around and talking about the leadership with the guys. it wasn't you know hey get the

showers toward the poconos and the bulk of the precipitation is out toward the ohio valley and you see it does flip to snow in parts of indiana and illinois and colder air is rushing in behind this front. as we time it, 11:00, it's raining everywhere and rain overspreads the region and you see that blue and back edge which is that snow, as we go through the overnight hours through the early morning hours it changes to a brief period of wet snow before it ends and this is a snapshot of 3:00 a.m. we see most of the region seeing the shot of snow after the initial rain and by the time the height of the morning rush begins at 7:00 a.m. that snow is off the coast and sunshine returning and you need your sunglasses for sun glare as we get into your friday morning rush. but you still want to use caution early tomorrow morning. yes the snow will be over, and we'll have to watch for the possibility of some isolated slick spots and mainly the grass getting a coating to inch of

snow overnight tonight. we'll chat about the second storm to come in on sunday and whether the snow or rain and the latest on that coming up in the full accuweather forecast. >> all right adam thank you, "action news" is on early tomorrow morning tracking the snow and its impact on the morning commute. so join matt, tam, david and karen starting tomorrow morning at 4:00 a.m. >> in other news new information about what police call a murder-suicide in wayne, montgomery county. two people were found dead of apparent gunshot wounds in a home on the 200 block of highland street. and police say it appears that a 20-year-old man shot a middle abled woman and turned the gun on himself. they don't believe anyone was involved and no danger to the community. philadelphia police are sorting out what led to a deadly fight outside of lincoln high school yesterday and we told you the story about breaking news and a 32-year-old man has died from a gunshot wound and his heart broken family is coming to grips

with his death. and vernon odom joins us live with the latest on the investigation. >> reporter: good evening rick and monica, an intention manhunt for a murderer parked for a melee outside of lincoln high school yesterday afternoon. they identify him as ralph kennedy. he was shot yesterday afternoon in the parking lot of lincoln high school during a basketball game between lincoln and atreed. >> they pushed them out of the event. a fight then broke out from the argument. and it's probably a combination of adults and students. >> police say that several dozen brawlers were involved including adults and shell casings from four guns were recovered.

and kennedy was known by police for minor scrapes and one major pinch for armed robbery are and was known to used name ralph rodly. he went to see the game and don't believe he was involved in anything that led to his murder. >> please help us. because they know. he was my brother. somebody, anybody that is out there -- somebody tell us what happened to our family member. >> extra police were staked out at lincoln high and so were counselors, as detectives continue to screen video and witnesses. >> mr. broadly has a number of names and is he known be police. >> police have gathered a lot of video inventory and evidence from the neighborhood and school and are confident they can round up these suspects. live at police headquarters, i'm vernon odom, 6 abc.

know if the suspect was a student as well. this afternoon we learn more about a fire tragedy that claimed two lives in philadelphia. neighbors say the victims are sub rings and they died along the 1300 brock of west toronto street overnight. here is what remains of their childhood home. they found the woman dead in the house and the man in his 50s was taken to the hospital where he later died. the flames broke out at 12:30 this morning when crew as rived they saw the flames shooting out of the first floor window and took 20 minutes to get the fire under control. neighbors who knew the victims are devastated. >> i looked out the window and seen the smoke. and then i came down stairs to see everybody else around standing around. and the firemen and they did get in. >> that woman tells us that the man took care of his older sister and worked at xerox and

today they are both being remembered. what caused the fire is still under investigation as well as they many working smoke detectors in their house. >> thank you alicia. customers of the aldi supermarket chain are warned to check their bank accounts, police discovered skimming device ises in two stores in lower pottsville. and limerick township. they are looking to identify two men captured on surveillance at the location. both are wanted for connection in connection with the case. now here is a look at the closing numbers on watch street ain mixed bag as it ended up. the dow was up 30 points and change and nasdaq and s&p 500 both closing down today at 4:00. time for a check of the "action news" traffic report for your thursday. lets go live to matt pellman in the traffic center to see what's rolling. mixed bag on the traffic front on this first afternoon of

february. but mostly undesirable traffic. as we head out to university city. this is the schuylkill expressway westbound lanes here and a broken down vehicle cleared out now and both lanes are open in both directions and kind of slow in the area 18 miles per hour. and coming east at the schuylkill a crash east of route 1 the roosevelt boulevard and off to the side and lanes are open and it's slow in that area. also watching the broken down vehicle partially blocking the ramp to get on 295, you can see by and a tight fight there and a school bus accident in east town township chester county. and the good news is there was no kids on the bus and the bus slammed into a pole and it's a serious accident along 252 at waterloo road and grub road and church road is the alternate in east town township chester county. earlier in langhorne a vehicle fire on route 1, northbound past 95 and it's extinguished and everything is open there.

of the area and now tracking rain coming in from the north and west. speaking of rain we have that coming in for super bowl sunday and the weather center and the forecast for the match-up here on sunday at 6:30 p.m. we know it's in a dome. 70 there and locally here, we have the forecast for you and before we get to the forecast we want to you see we purposefully placed the lombardi trophy next to the eagles icon. it's comfy in that spot. and there for a purpose. we look at the forecast for pregame party, raining with temperatures of 39 degrees and starts late morning into the afternoon rain. and as we get into the game time 6:30 to 10:00 hour. still raining and temperatures come up to 44 degrees and when the time to celebrate, unfortunately still a soaking rain outside with temperatures at 42 degrees. but rain or no rain, looking good here. as we take a look at temperatures, 45 philadelphia

and 40 allentown and 44 reading and 51 in dover, and ahead of this system the temperatures moved up and the cold front to the west and south and snow on the back edge of it. we see that flip over to wet snow late tonight. at 11:00 it is raining everywhere. 40 philadelphia or so. same for wilmington and millville. upper 30s to the north and west. and as we get into the early morning hours of your friday, 3:00 a.m. 36 trenton and philadelphia and wilmington and snowing at that point. the snow will not last long and with temperatures well above freezing we'll be melting on the roadways given how warm it has been and by the time the morning rush gets going at 7:00 a.m. temperatures fall back to freezing but the precipitation is moved out by that point and at 4:00 tomorrow afternoon, highs own in the 20s with a wind out of the northwest and that will create windchills only in the teens throughout the day tomorrow.

hello again it's 4:30 and we are live in the center of all things super bowl if minnesota. and we are here in the minneapolis convention center and this has been taken over and turned into what they call the nfl experience. it's where fans can come and get the interactive feel and look at what happens in and out of the nfl. we got a look today at how the official game balls are made. of course you can't play the game without the super bowl football. and we talked to wilson that makes the leather ball for the big game. >> okay so we are learning how the official super bowl footballs are made. dan is giving us the low down. >> the first thing at the experience sewing the football inside and out.

so the seams don't show. it is turned and that is our next operation. >> the sewing step to this step. >> he pounds the ends down to make them smooth and then turns the ball right side out on the bar. that make its so it bounces clear for both teams when he does that. and we need it for the eagles come sunday. >> and turn the balls right side out. >> is that a steaming process? >> we it in there because it's really stiff and makes it difficult to turn and the lining in the leather a little bit softer so he can turn it easier. he turns about 600 of the balls every day in the factory. >> okay then once that moves from the steaming and stretching we go here. >> go here and put a bladder in the ball and now it looks like a football. a little bit of air in the ball

speak, with its precipitation and a lot of it in the form of green. little of it in the form of white. most of the overnight it's raining but at the tail end it will flip to wet snow. rain going to the wet snow late tonight and that would not start falling well after midnight. there could be a grassy coating in spots as you wake up tomorrow morning and also a few slick spots in the morning not because it's snowing but it's going to be sunny but with the temperatures dropping especially the bridges and overpasses if there is still a bit of wet moisture on the ground it could freeze up quick and then a super bowl soaking is on the way with the next storm. as we look at temperatures, they vary from the northeast down to the mid-atlantic and in fact you go from the 20s in quebec bangor 24 degrees and boston in the 40s and 52 in washington right now with the southerly wind it's warm but behind this front.
