to begin at 1:00. and right there is "action news" reporter, wal walter, the city has issued do's and don't's. >> it's really a lot of common sense. simply put city officials are saying be considerate and kind and be patient. the staining is set and the delaware valley is ready to celebrate the super bowl champion eagles, a quick warning though, if your plans include being here in person, and don't have a game plan come up with one right away. the entire parade route and surrounding roadways are shut down from broad and paterson all the way to the art museum from 5:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and after a cold rainy day today. and sub freezing temperatures expected overnight local officials are discouraging everyone from camping out to beat the crowds. >> it would be unwise.

tomorrow. it was a hot ticket for those still seeking a ride today. >> i started off at the levitt town train station and they only had 60 tickets when they opened and sold out in five minutes so i hopped the train in levitt town and came to 30th street station and bought three passes for tomorrow. >> and septa is warning even if you have the passes that is no guarantee for a ride. boarding is first come first serve. check in at 6abc.com/eagles parade to see where and when trains are departing, the broad street and market frankford almost are free. >> and patco sole out. tickets will not be sold at stations tomorrow. start agent 6:00 a.m. eastbound service is suspended and patco trains will only depart from lyndonwald and broadway straights and drop passengers off at the 9th, 10th and locust vote stations.

we would not have to worry about the crowds not a good day to be outside. double scan live radar showing precipitation and parts of new england a foot of snow and here the rain is shutting off at philadelphia and the focus south jersey and delaware. and we had a pretty good squall line right there move across south jersey and heavy downpours 40 to 50 miles per hour gusts and everything clears out. it's rain is moving off the coast at 9:00, 10:00 and the problem is that, we have a lot of puddles and standing water and even though the winds are going to be picking up i don't think it's enough to dry out the roads and temperatures crash overnight watch out for black ice, there is a lot of refreezing even tomorrow morning, there is black ice around and be careful. the parade planner showing the sunshine returns tomorrow and cold and windy and these are the temperatures to look at. the windchills we start with the windchills in the teens and end with windchills in the 20s and dress in layers and bundle up

the alligations from 19 women that prosecutors are seeking to call as witnesses and the judge is expected to rule next month whether any of them will be allowed to testify and the retrial is scheduled for april 2nd in norristown. today is the ted line for nominations for those interests in serving on philadelphia new board of education. more than 500 applicants have submitted. the nine member board will replace the school reform commission and the nominating panel to narrow the list to 27 for mayor jim kenney to consider. he expected to announce the new board next month. >> all three versions of the t-shirts, lane johnson lj 65 foundation are on sale at city hall. and all proceeds for the t-shirts will go to the city of philadelphia. as the eagles and their fans began to embrace their status as underdogs.

ice on the ground and snow in the air made for a tricky drive this morning in the lehigh valley. in whitehall township public works crews tried to reduce the risk by shoveling and salting roads. drivers tried to be as careful as possible and getting off the roads as soon as possible. >> lets get a wrap up of what this day was like from cecily tynan. >> the big concern falling temperatures could get a refreeze on the untreated surfaces. and lets go live on sky 6 hd taking a look at the ben franklin bridge. the river rink a lot of eagles green out there. on the eve of the parade. and still pretty nasty conditions on the ben franklin parkway. it's raw. and it's pretty cold and still very damp although the bulk of the rain pushed into new jersey and delaware. stormtracker 6 live double scan showing it's all green now and all just rain and no icing and

no snow. it just pushed east of philadelphia now and we have steady rain across parts of camden and gloucester county and that will end the next two or three hours. and right now raining in most of new jersey and most of delaware and temperatures are dropping one this moves through. this morning we had to deal with snow and sleet. as far as philadelphia and the nearby suburbs, kind of minimal but doesn't take much to cause problems on the road. gilbertsville, just a little more than an inch. allentown 2 inches and tobyhanna in poconos reporting 5 inches of snow. now the winds of change. you look at the little arrows, we have winds out of the southeast at the atlantic city airport ahead of a cold front but west of the front the wins have shifted out of the west and shifting out of the northwest overnight and that pulls down some very cold air and satellite 6 along with action radar showing even though the rain is

moving out. anything left on the untreated surfaces will be refreezing so do be careful. there is black ice overnight tonight and tomorrow. 24 in philadelphia. allentown 18. and wilmington 27. the high pressure is building in and we get sunshine mixing with clouds from the parade and the high of 34 degrees and that number is so deceiving and winds up to 25 miles per hour. and windchills will be stuck in the low 20s. if you head to the parade you will want to bundle up. on friday a warm front passing up to the north. what this does is bring us a lot of clouds and possibility of a snow shower the high 39 degrees but behind the from the temperatures climb to the 50s and another round of rain. so the exclusive accuweather seven-day forecast for the parade tomorrow, the sunshine is back and mixing with clouds but it's brisk and cold and the high is 34 degrees and windchills start in the teens and only climb up into the low to

mid-20s. so it's going to be very cold. on friday, the sunshine retreats behind clouds and again snow showers up to the north with that warm front. 39 degrees and a warm front is the leading edge of warmer air. saturday 51 degrees and plenty of clouds and rain moving in late in the day and saturday night. and sunday 52 degrees and very mild. but it comes at a cost. we see periods of rain behind the system on monday. kind a transition day and wake up with clouds and sunshine by the afternoon, 46 degrees and tuesday mostly cloudy and 47 and wednesday which is valentine's day, don't forget about that. mild 52 degrees, but also a possible of showers, so the rain clears out tonight and icing overnight and tomorrow cold and windy. >> thank you. >> tenth graders from philadelphia school of the future showed off the creative side today. the students worked in teams to redesign the logo for evo
