for assistance at a potential domestic situation. >> we have two officers down, critical. suspect is down also, shot. >> they were fired upon when they arrived at the residence. one officer die on the scene and the other at the hospital. joe more bitzer called the officers true american heros that gave their lives in the protection of others. they were the best we had. the two slain policeman were anthony morelle, and officer eric jorring with the department 17 years. a male suspect was also shot and is in custody at an area hospital. westerville is the hometown of governor john caseic who tweeted his condolences.
