>> reporter: we have a change on the model run. the change we'll get a bit more mild and a bit more melting. you may remember this was a winter storm watch for the area north and west of the city, it's been changed to just an advisory, giving you a sense that the national weather service gettings less of an impact because of the storm out here. satellite and radar showing us the rain from yesterday is gone, we have clear skies, there will be clouds filling in from the south and west, the precipitation not that far behind, a big change in temperatures in the last 24 hours, 30 degrees in the city, upper 20s in trenton and wilmington, we're below freezing everywhere except for cape may. in the 60s, yesterday, in

allentown, 26. dover, 29. if you're out running errands, no problem, 38 degrees. 3:00 p.m., lots of clouds dry, 39 degrees. we see the winter mix arrive that will be sometime between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. pulling in from the southwest. at 5:00 p.m., it's a wintry mix through parts of the region, rain to the south, snow to the north and west, 38 degrees in the city. at 7:00 p.m. there's snow falling, it will be wet snow, it will be melting, it will be slushy, driving around, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. that's where it begins from the southwest to the northeast. 6 to midnight, that's when the heaviest snow hits us north and west, and rain south and east. rain at midnight, it's a quick hitter it's out of here, we'll show you neighborhood by neighborhood in just a few minutes. >> you can keep track of the

what the yellow is, kind of heavy rain in south jersey and delaware. there's the mixing line, right. a little icy in parts of camden, burlington gloucester, snowfall in philadelphia and northwest, with 35 degrees it's a wet snow, a lot of it melting on the roads kind of slushy. we look at 10:30, look at the rain line goes up there, past the city i-95. whatever wet snow you get, it will wash away. it's more of an event for the lehigh valley where the tempts stay cold. let's track what to expect. here's what we're looking at. maybe you see wet snowflakes mixing in in south jersey. one to three potentially possible in the area of the i-95 corridor. i think three is a little bit of a stretch. you'll not see it, it will melt, the rain will wash it away. exton, lansdale, quakertown, reading. in that area you could see 3 to

know this. >> kids resort to things like that. >> from what's happening now, the amount of shootings that's taking place, it's a matter of time before it happens here. >> reporter: this incident occurring in the wake of wednesday's school shooting in florida. in wood side delaware, police arrested channing fisher of dover. he made a threatening statement he was going to do harm to the school. high school in allentown, 19-year-old gill was arrested thursday, the criminal complaint allegation during a class discussion about the shooting in florida, gill said he was going to kill all the people in the school and he was going to start with the class he was in. gill was arrested at school, no weapons were found. back at eastern high school, parents can't believe the incidents have become commonplace. >> it's heartbreaking it's the

difficult to travel, more likely pure snow the farther north and west you go, the area of yellow that's heavy rain moving through south jersey. it depends on where you are, watch the rain line, though, look at 9:30. the rain line creeps up past the city. any wet snow you get will likely wash away philadelphia areas and south, it's a bigger deal where the temperatures are hovering around freezing. nothing extreme along the coastline. just a few flakes interior part of south jersey, i-95 corridor, one to three inches of snow. much of this looks like it will be washed out of here when it changes to rain at night. it's more of an event for exton, doylestown, pottstown, reading, 3 to 35 inches. lehigh valley, heavy wet snow. i-95 wet snow mixes with rain and kind of washes away, just a few flakes in south jersey and
