flooding, street flooding and wet snow. other than that nothing is going on. as we look at the weather center we have rain coming up from the south. there's no hint of snow otherwise just areas with mixing north of detroit. as cooler air gets drawn in and coastal storm develops we're expecting that tomorrow, too. it's only its way. we have a flood watch north and west, coastal flood watch high wind watch everywhere, and winter storm watch in the poconos. let's break it down for you, we'll start with the coastal flood watch this kicks in this evening, and through saturday evening in areas of high tide during the time period that could see minor to moderate flooding. this is mainly in the northeast half of the region where the heaviest rain is expected to set up. look out for poor drainage thrugd -- flooding there. high wind watch could get up to

50 and 65-mile an hour down the shor. temperatures right now not too bad. most of us in the 40s, even the mid 40s in philadelphia. so fairly comfortable winds not all that strong just yet. as we go through the day, it's cloudy, mild high of 58 around 2:00 p.m. later in the afternoon, after about 4:00 p.m., and beyond in most areas you've got a chance of the rain building in, it will get heavier along with windier conditions later tonight and tomorrow. >> karen we'll have the details on how this will affect today tonight and tomorrow and saturday coming up. >> what a mess of a scene we have in devon, chester county. 202 southbound that car was fully engulfed in flames a couple of minutes ago, two fire crews and ambulance and police on the scene blocking the two right lanes southbound toward malvern west valley road, 202, we have emergency workers,

during a commercial break i posted a video. it's a big problem in devon right now. we have a problem on the schuylkill expressway, all lanes were blocked, now we're seeing some traffic getting by on the schuylkill expressway eastbound in here vare. we have this accident it's creating a mess right now. eastbound jammed from 30th street to vare avenue. they are letting the traffic get by. earlier i was watching people turn around andy drive the wrong way along a ramp trying to get out of the backlog on the schuylkill expressway eastbound toward pass i couldn't think you're jammed because of the accident blocking two lanes a minute ago. as you look at the big picture, no speeds nothing happened because for a while it was so jammed it's shut down on the schuylkill expressway eastbound. we have speeds in the single digits, chopper 6 hd over the scene right now showing the emergency workers just now

letting traffic get by, there you can kind of see the wreckage from one of the vehicles involved in the accident on the schuylkill expressway eastbound at vare. as you pan back chopper you get a sense of the backlog we're dealing with this morning. if you're in the area, you don't want to be in that jam for a while the schuylkill expressway was shut down. what you can do is stick to the vine eastbound to i-95 southbound so you're not in the mess that chopper 6 hd was showing on the schuylkill expressway. one more issue an accident involving an overturned vehicle what's going on coatsville at first avenue at lincoln highway. >> we've got breaking news, more of it, two school districts in gloucester county, new jersey just canceled classes for today because of an incoming threat. franklin township school district and delsea township school district say a threatening e-mail was sent to a staff member in the district. after consulting with police,

the decision was made to close both districts. we have crews heading to the area to get more information for you. >> breaking, this was the scene as firefighters battled a large house fire in delanco, burlington county. heavy flames and smoke shooting into the skies over south jersey. we know that two people were injured and rushed to the hospital. action cam is live on the scene now. the 600 block of hickory street smoke pouring out of the structure which broke out in flames at 3:00 a.m. on fire for more than 3 hours. firefighters remain on the scene with their hoses and trucks trying to put this out once and for all. breaking, as well a man was rushed to the hospital after being shot three times in the city's brewerytown neighborhood. the gunfire erupted before 4:00 a.m. at north 29th and jefferson streets, police have not told us that victim's condition. white house could unveil president trump's plan to

no, it's a mess out there. this is the schuylkill expressway near vare avenue. for a while the schuylkill expressway was shut down eastbound near vare. because of that we have a huge delay. i want to show you a different scene. chopper 6 hd is over the scene we can see the traffic. here's the deal. it was blocked completely, now, we have police blocking two lanes on the schuylkill expressway eastbound near vare heading toward passyunk. the backup is extensive. you're jammed at this point heading on the schuylkill expressway. you can see all the headlights are kind of just stuck in traffic from the vine eastbound to i-95 southbound because of that accident scene. also our other breaking news, 202 southbound westbound because of a car fire. we have two fire crews and ambulance and police on the scene at west valley road in devon heading toward malvern. a big problem there. southampton an accident first avenue at lincoln highway.

joining me the lieutenant, you and i were talking about the on going investigation, what are you dealing with, what is the threat about? >> last night the franklin township police department received a call from the teacher in the school district she advised us she received an e-mail from an unknown sender that reverenced is soothe in one of our schools. at this point we contacted the school administration from franklin township and delsea regional rifle. regional high school. we determined to close the high school and who the threat was made by. >> reporter: this is not the first time the school district has again a threat. how is the different? >> the one we investigated on monday, came in over the weekend we identified two students at delsea high school and we interviewed them on scene and

firefighters brought the flames under control. >> a police department in burlington county is laying out a school security plan that's been in the works for sometime that includes armed security guards. evesham township is employing former police officers in the 8 facilities and the township high school. >> if the situation arrives their primary goal is to neutralize that threat to address the shooter, attack the shooter and do everything they can to protect the children and staff. >> applicants have to meet a list of requirements, the candidate must be retired no longer than three years go through state mandated training and be fully uniformed and armed. president trump vowed an executive order to ban bump stocks. he seemed to side with democrats calling for stronger background checks in raising age requirements for assault style weapons.

new castle county police believe this pickup truck belongs to a thief behind a string of car break ins in delaware. the thief smashes car windows to take items inside. the thefts have happened at three locations in the state. pike creek shopping center, hockessin athletic club and paper mill park. a lawmakers fights sexual misconduct allegations. one woman said he forced her to have sex after they broke up. he -- another claimed he threatened to kill her. house is investigating the allegation, if they are true they will not be tolerated. the lawmaker said unfortunately i cannot disprove something that never happened. no charges were filed because
