windy today. >> it's funny we were talking about the potentially storm wednesday. i don't want it now. i want baseball and spring. we've got another storm potentially on the way as we go to the weather center. not much going on, we're still dealing with winds. you can see those lines, winds are still whipping around. sustained winds are anywhere from 15-20 miles per hour. the storm is way off the coast. these are sustained winds 15-25. every now and then we pick up a gust closer to 30. we still have a coastal flood advisory up for the entire shoreline as well as the delaware beaches. that's for this morning's high tide where minor flooding is expected, the tide will run a good foot to foot and a half above average. that too could bring rain, accumulating snow and gusty winds to parts of the area. i'll focus more on that here in a minute. 46 degrees isd to's forecasted high which is about 3 degrees

all right then we get into wednesday and this is where things are going to get interesting. here is friday's nor'easter. look at how tight these lines are. these are called isobars, lines of equal pressure. the tighter these lines are, the stronger the winds. you can see we're close to that pack here so it's still breezy. a primary low hitting the great lakes, then a surface low develops here right off the coast. that's your nor'easter that will go right up the eastern sea board. the question is how close to the coast will this storm develop. the closer the low is to the eastern seaboard, the greater the impacts are going to be for places like the jersey shore, philadelphia, northwestern suburbs. we advance this, this becomes a full-blown nor'easter. what we know right now most of the models are coming around we have increasing confidence that
7:14 am
this will hit on wednesday. right now it looks like rain to snow in philadelphia and it could be a plowable snow north and west and becoming windy again. it doesn't look like anything close to what we just dealt with. i don't think we'll see 60-70 mile an hour winds. this particular forecast model that don't show much of anything at all. this particular model shows the potential of this storm here. that darker blue is 6-12 that wouldically lehigh valley, poconos, maybe 3 inches right there in philadelphia and lesser amounts for south jersey and delaware. so again it's a storm we'll have to watch very closely. david murphy, cecily and adam will fine tune this as we start the workweek. overnight all locations dropping well before freezing. it's a cold night, slick spots
