boyfriend. christopher davis is accused of shooting 63-year-old mason montgomery multiple times at a home on moore street this morning. montgomery was taken to the hospital with injuries to his hands and feet. davis is known to frequent areas along hillsborough street from rowan to ramsey streets and should be considered armed and dangerous. if you know where he might be call the fayetteville police. the inmates who broke out of a california jail planned their escape for six months according to investigators and abducted a taxi driver and drove to northern california where they fought about killing him. one inmate came back to santa anna with the taxi driver and later surrendered. another arrest in the case of a man accused of sending an article to help the inmates escape and the woman was set free due a lack of evidence. newly released documents

extremely cooperative throughout the investigation. the national transportation safety board revealed new reports today and includes transcripts with the engineers. the last thing he remembers is pushing the throttle forward to pick up speed and braking before he felt the train going too fast into a sharp curve. eight people died and 200 injured when the train derailed last may. the center of another battle. a company wants to turn it into a middle school. the buyer wants it rezoned for special use. here's more from gilbert baez. >> mary lynn has lived here for 53 years. they have stayed here during his rampage through fayetteville during the civil war. >> his troop stayed out here in my woods.

>> now another battle is about to begin jordan and other residents are putting up a fight to stop the home from being turned into a middle school with 90 students. >> if you had bus loads of children coming in and out all day how am i going to get to my property? if this street is blocked that's my concern. >> there are no busing. i can tell them that pick up and drop off is between 7 and 8:30 so it's not 90 students at one time. >> kristy has requested a special permit to make the change. she owns the academy and has a 100 pre-school and elementary students the residents concerns are unfounded. >> we are not tearing down the school. we are keeping it's integrity. we have the money to invest in it. we have an amazing education. >> jim is not against the school but thinks the operation will over whelm the community.
