had on the roads in greensboro, that's the latest image from the camera, i-40 patterson. road temperatures are warm, relatively speaking and not going to see any problems with snow accumulating on roads. maybe at worst, slush on bridges and that's if it comes down hard in spots. there is the road weather index. see that over to the west, there is that chance of the rain-snow mixture. we have to wait to see what happens in the triangle. not anticipating problems. we will run in to wet roads, leave extra time in your schedule so you can leave early and not get out there and speed on the wet roads. no trouble major routes and no accidents that point either. testimony resumes this morning in the travion smith trial. one of the three suspects in the mud of melissa huggens jones testified about what happened that night in 2013,

first degree murder, but she is cooperating with prosecutors and says she was with smith and her boyfriend while they were breaking in to cars and they left her. when they reappeared they were anxious and made her runaway with them. anthony had a knife with blood on it and smith had blood on his shirt and said smith acted confused. >> i got a son, i got a son, he was nervous about not seeing his son. >> she testified she was not given a deal in return for her testimony, earlier outside the presence of the jury, she said admitting anthony admitted to stabbing the victim because she was screaming. the judge did not allow the jury to hear that. leaders are looking for ways to provide safe drinking water for people whose wells are contaminated. contamination in 15 private

temperatures this morning. everybody is above freezing. we will stay that way. 43 at noon with sunshine. high of 47 this afternoon, turning colder and it will be a bit breezy. a chilly weekend, we have a arctic blast in the forecast for next week. more in a few minutes. i was looking forward to seeing a little bit of snow this morning. we are going to look at wet roadss that problem for the morning commute. the weather related problem at least. 6:32, life drive 5, heading through durham on i-85, north gate mall, see it looks good out there. wet roads, damp in a few spots. windshield wipers going occasionally. no big problems this morning. a look at the road weather index. the chance of snow to the west. not muff to amount to anything on the roads. it's teetering out a little bit. that's good news for the commute this morning.

active drug lab. 7 people had to be decontaminated including an 18- month-old. 4 people are charged with drug possession. the health plans board of trustees will vote on whether to raise deductibles or premiums for 2017. >> increasing cost for all state employees. mikaya thurmond joins us live in raleigh with news this is going to effect hundreds of thousands of people. >> reporter: that 700,000 to be exact, the state health plan provides coverage for teachers, lawmakers, state employees, retirees and their dependents. one of the biggest changes how much employees pay for premiums and deductibles and raising premiums or put premiums where there were none before. deductibles would increase. this week, there was an outcry over a proposal to eliminate the popular 80/20 plan and

the trustees announced wednesday they would postpone consideration of those more drastic changes. state workers are still concerned about the pending premium and deductible increases for next wreer and health costs are going up but salaries are not. today's decision will only impact 2017, bill and renae, the meeting is set to start at 3:00 p.m. weeks and problems with blue cross blue shield customer accounts are not fixed. many of the customers are turning to the state for help. in a month's time the state department of insurance received 850 complaint calls, we reported problems with overbilling and verifying coverage of blue cross, thousands of people are affected. insurance commissioner says he wants to get to the bottom of it. >> we will be following the law, holding folks accountable pursuant to the law and see

he urges blue cross customers with issues to continue to contact his office. anticipation is building for sunday's big game. >> i'm excited. fans are packing in to san francisco and so far, analysts say north carolina fans are outpacing their denver counter parts. that's encouraging. kathryn brown is live in super bowl city with numbers and the excitement. >> reporter: the excitement out here is growing almost by the hour, how about that, analysts, i spoke to someone from stub hub yesterday. she said 10% of the tickets sold for the super bowl are coming from north carolina, that's compared to 9% coming from denver, that surprises analysts since colorado is so much closer, they figured more tickets would be coming from there. as for the other 80% or so, many of them are corporate
