ree cl er n ou m itwseriously hurt after being hit by a car. candace sweat has been gathering information and joins us with updated information that just came in within the past few minutes. can dallas. >> reporter: just a couple of minutes ago we received word that all for cyclists were ejected off their bicycles and transported to the hospital. troopers said it involved three men and a woman. we know these cyclists were struck by a driver as they neared sue dry. we spoke with a woman what says she hit them and her daughter who says she rushed here to the scene when her mother called accident. her daughter tells us her mother was coming up a hill and

noticed the cyclists. she then says at that point another car was coming in the opposite direction and she was trying to miss the cyclists and hitting the other car. her daughter tells us when she arrived on the scene she found her mother distraught. >> she said she panicked, she didn't know what to do, she didn't know whether to get over and hit the other car or whether to try and miss the bicyclists. she actually stopped in the middle of the road down there, then she pulled over here to get out of the road. when i got here she was actually laying over here in the ditch crying. >> reporter: again, all four cyclists ejected off their bikes and transported to wake med. we're told the driver has not been charged. >> candace we are learning that alcohol at this point does not

voting maps. primary elections were moved to the 7th but voters still head to the polls march 15th to vote in other races. lawmakers spent the day preparing. the governor even called a special session of the general assembly to address the issue. before that a federal court ordered the state to draw up new maps because the old district relied too much on race. this all could have much bigger implications not only for the u.s. but also for the state house and senate voting maps. those maps were drawn under the same interpretation of federal law as the maps that were just struck down. the same federal district court will hear arguments that these maps may also be constitutional. that hearing is scheduled for april. democratic senate leader dan blue applauded the decision. senator blue says the decision ensures that due process will prevail to see that every vote truly counts. we're still waiting a response from state republicans. breaking news in the nevada democratic caucus. former secretary of state

>> you can watch tara's full interview on wral.com. one interesting thing will you find out is what is not included in the price of renovations for their show property brothers. is aimee's back. it was a day to day anything around the house. >> maybe start getting your garden ready for spring. nice and warm. take a look at the high temperatures. made it up into the 60s everywhere. even new burn getting into the low 70s. 66 was the high in clinton and in goldsboro we made it up to 66. just waiting for that map to update. 67 in south hills. so very comfortable. still very nice right now. temperatures holding on into the upper 50s and low 60s across the viewing year. 60 is the current still in rocky mount. 61 in goldsboro, 61 in clinton, 59 in raleigh. still very comfortable. compared to this time yesterday we're mon than 10 degrees warmer, 16 degrees warmer in south hill, nine degrees warmer in faithville.

you got me think about baseball season. here's a look at the stadium. the season doesn't start for 47 days for the durham bulls. we do have cloudy skies. a little bit gray but the temperature made up for. that a little bit of rain. it looks like rain butt didn't make it to the ground. maybe a couple of sprinkles, otherwise mainly cloudy skies across the area today. we have an area of high pressure just offshore. winds flow clockwise around high pressure systems. we have a southwest flow. that's what's helping to warm us up. temperatures were very mild for this time of year. actually records being set. if you head back to the midwest, st. louis breaking a record. denver may be breaking a record. but we are watching another cold fronted that is going to move in late tomorrow. that brings some cooler temperatures and the potential for rain.

remain dry. for the most part i think we stay dry. we might see a couple of spotty showers late tomorrow. this is lunchtime sunday. notice we don't have any rain chances really. just a 4% chance in raleigh. we will have some clouds, though. as we get to 6:00 those rain chances go up to a 13%. so late in the day we could see maybe a couple of sprinkles or a spotty showmpt but for the most rtry aswe get into monday late in the day our rain chances go up. so late monday into tuesday our rain chances will start to get a little bit higher. it looks like rain will be likely for the first half of tuesday. about a 50, perhaps even a 60 or 70% chance. beyond this weekend we get into a more wet and cooler pattern. it will be mild this evening. overnight temperatures will stay in the upper 40s. compare this to last sunday. when he made it down to 15 degrees. the high temperature on sunday was 32.

we could have a little bit of fog, especially down to the south and southeast of raleigh overnight and for the first part of sunday. 69 for the high temperature tomorrow sought will be even warmer. probably seeing more 70s showing up on the high temperature map tomorrow. 57 for the high temperature monday. lots of clouds. we will have the potential for rain but it will be as we get into the second half of the day when we see our greatest potential for showers. then tuesday rain looks likely and cooler with highs in the 40s. the best chance for rain on tuesday will be the first half of the day. then we will see those rain chances come down, then we will see another surge of rain on wednesday. rain looking likely for that time period, then dry thursday through saturday. but some nice weather today. very pleasant. >> gorgeous today. i have to say i will take the reign exchange for the warmer temperatures and not 15 degrees. >> that was brutal last weekend. >> a real goodwin for the pack.
