at apoach usow police say five people are dead including a gunman after shooting and a fire at a home in arizona. police say all four were killed, they were adults. a girl is also hospitalized at this hour. her condition is critical. officers say all of the victims were family members, but the shooter was the brother or son of one of the victims. investigators say after the shooting, the gunmen set the house on fire. a michigan mother is talking about her daughter's

14-year-old abigail coff is on a ventilator and in critical condition after getting shot left six people dead in kalamazoo over the weekend. as don chippy reports, the alleged gunman has allegedly confessed to the whole thing. >> reporter: vicki described feeling her 14-year-old hand. >> she is alive and she is fighting for her life. >> reporter: authorities initially thought abigail died after she was shot in the head during a random shooting spree weekend. her heart stopped at one point, but, her mom calls are a fighter. >> abigail is strong and she is a vibrant, beautiful young lady who did not deserve this. >> reporter: abigail was with her adoptive grandmother, barbara hawthorne, when 45-year- old jason dalton opened fire on them and three other women in this cracker barrel parking lot. abigail kopf was the lone survivor of that attack. two men, a father and son,

about that over the next couple of minutes. let's talk about first what's happening out there. starting with dual doppler 5000 radar, you can see we have rain picking up in intensity south end east of the triangle area. early this morning it was near the virginia line along and west of i-85. it just switched locations. we will zoom into the triangle. a few patchy light rain showers from, say, wake forest, down to raleigh, eastern zebulun, garner and clayton. heading eastward it picks up in intensity from goldsboro, in the southern part of johnston county. you might hear rumble of thunder here. this is right along the boundary. temperatures going to warm up in this area, especially just east of that. we have some warmer air down to the south and east mcclinton, newton grove, east of fayetteville, say lumber, you have the potential of a little bit of patchy thunder and lightning with that. here's a look at the radar picture again starting at 8:15 this morning. you can see most of the rain

or 11:00, for this morning, i should say, we start seeing a develop in the southern part of the viewing area. we have rain falling in fayetteville right now. fairly light. you can see the market house and what roads in downtown fayetteville. 44 officially at the airport. we have drizzle falling at rdu, northeast wind at 8 miles per hour, dewpoint 43. it really has not changed at all since this morning when i walked into the door. drizzle, temperatures in the mid-40s. 42 s. hill, 46 in rocky mount and wilson. 46 in southern pines. it is 49 in clinton and 50 in kenansville. some of our towns in the east could warm up this afternoon as we have that boundary pushing back to the west. i'm going to talk more about that coming up in 30 minutes. we are watching this next system get cranked up over texas. we have our first tornado watch posted in louisiana and tornado warnings as well. we can expect that, i would not be surprised at all if we go under a tornado watch for tomorrow.

tomorrow morning. we will wait for that from the national weather service. here's a look at futurecast. the rest of today looks fairly quiet for us. and isolated shower and thunderstorm. here comes this powerful line. there is 7:00 a.m. stretching for the mountains through georgia, moving eastward. there is 10:00 a.m., we're going to track this coming through. by lunchtime we may have severe weather here and it may thought maybe late afternoon. the biggest threats today are going to be down south along the gulf coast where they are looking at damaging winds, tornadoes and large hail. there are a number of tornado gulf coast. shifting to tomorrow, we are risk tomorrow. there are five levels. we are at number 34 raleigh eastward. that's pretty significant. we have the potential for tornadoes, large hail, damaging winds. even if you are not in this

up to 50 miles per hour so we will have wind damage. if you have not downloaded our wral weather alert app i encourage you to do so. this will happen during the middle of the day when you maybe out to lunch, running errands, that sort of thing. tracking every move of the storms and we will let you know it's coming to your area. if you happen to be outcome of that could be a real lifesaver. temperatures will be warm tomorrow, breezy on thursday. after that everything finally quiets down. there may be a good bit of cleanup that folks have to do thursday and friday. right now the weekend looks nice, especially sunday with a high of 64. we talk about what some of these threats will be from the storms tomorrow coming up in half hour. >> thanks. apple valley to fight a court order to unlock the phone of a suspected terrorist. >> and customers agree with that decision. we tell you where and when a local protest is scheduled to take place there just because you can testing doesn't mean you should not try.
