the home of the supect is surrounded by police. we the sheriff has updated us. here is what we know so far. >> daryl, swat teams are surrounding the house with a man inside, refusing to come ouchlt at least three people and the gunman are dead, after a shooting that took less than an hour. 14 are injured, ten critically.

he fell outside of the door. >> i asked him where he got shot. >> reporter: his nephew was not the intended target. the shooter was one of the a string. the next day, a 13-year-old girl was shot. about a comweeks earlier, police say shots were fired outside a home on brooklyn avenue. that time, nobody was hurt. four people have been arrested and charged in connection to the shootings. investigators believe they are related to gang activity. in a statement police chief said while we're seeking the perpetrators of gun violence we recognize a comprehensive pup -- public health approach is necessary. residents in the line of fire have seen the crisis up close. so what's going on? >> i don't know. .

well, it was still really, really blowing today. i was watching you guys at 11:00 last night and the winds sustained at throi, gusted at 46. for some folks, it was the worst weather. it's still going to be breezy but not as obnoxious as what we've seen in the last 36 hours and then we'll talk about the temperature reversal, coming up. let's start off with the sky cam as we correct your -- our attention down to raleigh. still a few fair weather clouds. winds out of the west. those clouds are harmless here, but back in the mountains they have been producing snow and probably will continue to do so for a while. humidity, 47%. other temperatures pretty uniform as you would expect with a wind still blowing out there, keeping the atmosphere well mix skwd not allowing the local temperature variations to develop the way they do.
