we have some breaking news out of nashville. jurors reached a verdict a short time ago, in erin andrews' lawsuit. the jury awarded the fox sports reporter and cohost of dancing with the stars $55 million. she says she was humilityiated and suffers from depression as a result of the -- humiliated, and her stalker will face 2.5 million years in prison. and gawker published part of a sex tape in 2012 that hulk hogan says was made without his knowledge. in court he said he thought it was all a joke, and hogan is suing for invasion of privacy, and gawker claims since hogan is a public figure, the sex tape is newsworthy. and topping the social scene today, many latinos are seeking

lightning bolts sh up. chances are, that you or someone you work with relies on fitbit to track their activity. not deb, but someone else we work with. a lawsuit questioning the accuracy is getting attention and raising questions. >> so interesting. monica laliberte shows what's behind the suits. >> reporter: the lawsuit targets two popular fitbit surge and the fitbit charge hr misread heart rates by quote a very significant margin particularly during exercise. what? right during exercise? well, consumer reports is especially concerned about the claims because the nonprofit testing company already tested the devices found them to be accurate for heart rate monitoring and then recommended them. so after the suit was filed last month, they decided to retest

our director said that's not a red headed wood pecker now, rise, and he said they're called red-bellied wood peckers. but any way, carolyn williams sent me this picture and says my husband kelly and i have been trying all winter to keep up with the bird feeder. saturday afternoon i finally got a picture of him. he comes in and out of nowhere, and he's gone. i never knew they ate anything other than bugs. they seem to like corn, too. she said we love our birds and that made the amazing pick of the day. i'll put this on facebook when we're done with weather. after a fine afternoon we expect a fine evening, partly to mostly cloudy by 8:00 with temperatures running in the 50s by that point. let's see what's going on. i do have the correct remote, and let's see what's going on. let me walk over to my computer and see if we can get it started. any ways we expect partly to mostly cloudy with temperatures

about 57 by 8:00 so the weather not all that bad if you want to go outside and do your fitness. we'll have a southwest wind about five miles per hour. so a look at our wral gardens, very pleasant. nothing's blooming but it's a great place to come relax. there are nice little trails that go through there. you can see a lot of wildlife. we have bird features so if you want to see some nice flowers, it was 35, and it was 37 at the raleigh durham international airport. we could do ten better today, and tomorrow. 66, fayetteville, 57 to the west in boone. we have a lot of high clouds coming in tonight that'll give us mostly cloudy skies but they're not rain producing skies. we have an area of high pressure, and it extends aloft, as well, and basically think of it as a brick wall of air that'll keep the weather systems from coming up and piling up out

a bit of rain will fall on the coming days and we have a southerly flow that's drawing in all the warm moist our off the gulf so that area to the west is prime for severe weather, in fact, it's an elevated risk across the southern and central plains with damages winds and alarm hail. since we have rage in place, the system isn't going to make much headway so it's generally the same as tomorrow and also on wednesday, that'll run the risk for severe weather. for us it's nothing but sunshine and warmth for the next several days. we'll see the next chance of rain. you can ditch the heavy coats in the morning and opt for a light jacket. 79 on thursday, our old record high is 81 set back in 1974, and on saturday, don't forget daylight savings time begins at two temperature sunday morning so before you go to bed turn the clocks ahead one hour and don't forget to change batteries in the smoke detectors and the carbon monoxide detectors, as well. no return to any chilly air any time soon. and just small chances for rain
