porter is being treated. seouls is in custody, so far no charges have been filed. detectives are asking the public for help locating a suspect in the deaths of two men in raleigh. pedro reyes and alex rodriguez were shot to death in a car parked on glenwood avenue last week. lease obtained arrest warrants for a 19-year-old charging him with two counts of murder, anyone who knows and is asked to call the police. thousands of primary voters headed to the polls today. >> north carolina is one of the five states helping shape the presidential races. wral's kathryn brown is on polled patrol checking out briefings in the area and joins us live from the precinct in downtown raleigh. how is it going there? >> reporter: it is very busy, you are right, we have been all

the situation, and i can tell you first hand it has been incredibly steady, no matter what time of day, morning, noon and now into the afternoon, the pace is picking up more. take a look at trinity united methodist church, poll workers tell me it is very busy. they expected to get very busy as people got off of work and make their way to the polls. people are heading home for the night. rough numbers into the wake county board of elections shown average turnout rate of 26% and we still have two and half hours to go. compare that to 14% turnout for the last nonpresidential race, you begin to get an idea of how strong the numbers are. some precincts have seen as high as 49% turnout, that particular precinct, good shepherd lutheran church, very strong numbers. very few technical issues or complaints, the bigger issue seems to be confusion over the new voter id law, complaints that some poll workers may not be fully up to speed on what forms of id are acceptable, or

disease. >> it is clear something is going on in the brains of these players. really the next question is where do we go from here? >> in a statement to nbc news the nfl stood by this latest acknowledge of a link between cte and football. exercise could be the answer to easing symptoms from clonic ill conditions. however, it is rarely prescribed by doctors. studies show exercise can be as effective as surgery and medication when it comes to treating chronic pain or illness. however, many doctors are not properly trained about the benefit of exercise for these conditions. one of the harlem globetrotters made a visit

we started to get rounds of showers and thunderstorms coming in. clip. you'll notice lightning flashing into the evening. it almost looked like a strobe light at times last night when the storms went through there. virtually nothing happened last night. a lot of variation from one part of the county to the other. this is what it looks like today. it has been like this all afternoon. it is a pretty and comfortable day. we have a better day coming up tomorrow if you equate better with warmer. remember how it was cooler north to the east. we have a general pattern. south hill 71. it gets progressively warmer toward the south and west. since our wind is coming from that direction tomorrow that

into the entire area. further south the warmest temperatures the south and west. lingering cloud cover along the northern coast of north carolina. other wise a beautiful day across the state today. much of the southeast enjoying very pleasant weather. the vast majority in the upper atmosphere will be bypassing us north and west. you can see colder cloud tops up in here. there is severe weather across the nation's midsection this evening. none is headed our way. the wave we were dealing with yesterday is that bend in the lines there. here's the next one out here. look how the curvature in the lines where you see it occurring to the greatest degree, that bypasses us way off to the north and west. we are basically in a westerly flow with not much to worry

we start to trend cooler. but the really cold air stays up to the north through st. patrick's day. then as we head on into the weekend we start to havethese blues descending across north carolina. the degree of chilliness this weekend is going to depend on how much cloud cover and rain we get for the second part of the weekend. if we ended up having a day on sunday that was overcast and was raining off and on the entire day it is very possible it would never get out of the 40s. we are not forecasting that now. there is doubtness to exactly how much rain will occur. keep that in the back of your mind. that could be a shock to the system after what we have had of late anwhat we'll have tomorrow. the cool air is well entrenched on monday. moderation next week with temperatures getting toasty again. 8:00 p.m. 67 mostly clear and pleasant. late tonight only down in the upper 50s for lows.

as we head into tomorrow, looks like it will be sunny to start. few harmless clouds in the afternoon. look at these temperatures for march 16th. temperatures 80 to 84 across the area for afternoon highs. then we gradually cool down. nothing dramatic from day-to- day or shocking. about ten degrees on thursday. another seven or so on friday. over the weekend it keeps getting cooler. sunday 53 and it is overcast all day long. it may never get out of the 40s. maybe a below freezing low next tuesday. >> that's pretty raw. especially after today. it is so beautiful. >> enjoy the 83 tomorrow. >> i shall. thank you. u.s. is loosening rule on travel to cuba. >> coming up this afternoon, what that means for americans who want to visit the country. slow-moving senior citizen
