stw authorize a public meeting about proposed plans to extend pullen and installing sidewalks, bike lanes, a roundabout, streetlights, and trees along the street. they'll also be some widening along billyou street, and the permanent access southeast of ash avenue. the meeting will be from 6:00 to 7:00 tonight in room 303 at raleigh's city hall on hargett street. nearly a dozen dogs and cats will be ready for adoption tomorrow. first responders will be busy vaccinating, microchipping and grooming the animals. the pets were taken from the considered deplorable conditions. the big adoption marathon runs tomorrow at a temporary shelter in sanford on nash street across from the national guard armory. adoption fees will be waived.
