their bounds by threateng to pass a law t overturn this local ordinance. charlotte city council, passed an ordinance that would allow transgender people to use the restrooms of the gender they identify with. the rules would go into effect april 1st. many said this is a threat to public safety. house members in the senate have suggested calling a special session in order to pass a law to overturn this. governor pat mccrory is against the ordinance saying that it is a violation of privacy, but he wants lawmakers to wait until session starts until the 25ing to the deal with that issue. special sessions cost the state about $42,000 a day. phil burger has called on the attorney general to step in on the matter. members of the charlotte city
