this is detective simone. we wanna know what happened here. and don't be giving these people no more drinks. there was 3 of them. one of them came around the bar and emptied the cash register. then they shot the man, and they all ran out. why'd they shoot him? they just shot him. they told us, "don't nobody leave," and that's why they shot him. he was leaving? that's right. so what did this guy look like, the one that pulled the trigger? old man: tall, had a hat on. - a black hat. - it was a brown hat. woman: a black hat. was he white, black, or what? black. it was all 3 of them black. they was 3 hard-looking guys, i tell you that. they would have killed me in a second. how about their ages? looked to me about 30. uh, nothing out of the ordinary as far as appearances. run-of-the-mill, as far as looks go. anyone over here recognize these guys? no. no. maybe from drinking here before. i never seen them. how many shots fired? woman: one. 2. it was one!

he came out from behind me. i didn't even know he was there. and i'd just unlocked my door and he grabbed me and he pushed me in... and he had his hand over my mouth. he got me down on the floor, and he said he'd kill me if i screamed. now, the cop said you told him you could tell the assailant was white. i saw him when he left. but the light was coming in from the street. can you remember anything else about him? he had, um...an earring, like a hoop. and he had stubble whiskers. oh, he looked... he looked like he was maybe late 20s. he much taller than you? well, it seemed like he was, but... he wasn't real big. maybe 6 feet?
