rosado faces several charges. members of the harnett county sheriff'sffice are facing a lawsuit. the plaintiffs are residents including a family member representi a man who was shot and killed by harnett county deputy last year. bill leslie joins us now from the newsroom with the basis for the suit.>> the case of 33-year- old john livingston is at the center of this lawsuit filed in district court. the 33-year-old was shot on the november last year. deputies arrived at the house on everett street to investigate a reported assa livingston refused to allow deputies to search hihome around 3 am. livingston became combative and that is when he was shot. and jury decided not to indict the deputy involved in the case and nichas to haig's. he along with sherry rollins and wayne coates and other depies arnamed in the lawsuit. the plaintiffs allege the harnett county sheriff has a

the time is 8:30 am. firefighters in durham are the latest responding to wildfires in western north carolina. they left around 6:30 am and headed to rutherford county. emmy victor is live in europe to tell us what they will be doing.>> reporter: cruise left here about 6:45 am so they are in the sec to western north carolina. about eight people here volunteer to go over to western north carolina to help with these wildfires. they gathered around 6 am and we were here as they were packing up the vehicles. the cruise will be gone from 3 to 6 days and work 12 hour shifts and working to protect towns of the path of the party rock fire. this fire is one of the largest out west and is not even 25%

south wilmington. the victim had serious injuries. they have not said what the motive was. wake county school system members zora felton has died. it was the unexpected. she was a career educator and retired from the classroom in 2013 and won a seat on the school board. she was reelected last week to a second term. felton was 65. a daycare worker arrested mishandling a one-year-old. tracy stallings faces one count of misdemeanor child abuse. she was arrested last month after appletree daycare in raleigh fired her. the child's mother says the video shows stallings throwing her one-year-old son into a bookcase. the teacher was initially allowed back in the class after the video was discovered and
