today would have been a nice time to be inside walking arn id a museum. it's so hot. tomorrow it'll be even worse. tomorrow with the humidity it'll feel like 105 degrees. we have basically hot weather sitting on top of us. this is the hottest air so far this season. but before we talk about that, we have to talk about some severe weather that could affect the area. so with that said, let's take you outside and show you what's going on. basically it's been very hazy out there today. we have a lot of heat in place. the humidity is sitting on top of us. and with the combination of the heat and the humidity, we d have basically a hazy afternoon. tomorrow, more of the same. here's what's happening right now. again, we do have some severe weather potentially that could affect the area. we have a severe thunderstorm watch in effect until 11:00 from basically most of the maryland and out towards the eastern shore up towards pennsylvania. that's where we have some active weather right now. and it is pushing southward. on digital doppler we are quiet. but in just a second i'll show you the active weather that's pushing towards the region.

belt line. so here's future cast. basically high pressure will be the main player again tomorrow. it will continue to pump in the heat and humidity. tomorrow, temperatures around 100. with the humidity it will feel like 105. then we'll be watching this front right here. it drops into the area tuesday bringing us a chance of a shower and thunderstorm. behind it we start to cool things down for the middle of the week. here's the situation. for this evening, partly cloudy. maybe a thunderstorm north and east of town. otherwise warm and humid. temperatures in the upper 80s to right around 90 for the next couple of hours. for tomorrow, mostly sunny skies. we have that heat advisory in effect with the heat and with the humidity. it could feel like 105 degrees. otherwise just hot and humid. all right. the extended forecast goes like this. again, tomorrow, easily the hottest day so far this summer. about 98 degree. that is the record for tomorrow. so we may actually tie or break the record at reagan natnal airport. on tuesday a little bit cooler with a chance of a shor or a
