taking it to the streets.d washington. good saturday, everyone. tens of thousands of anti-tax protesters flooded the streets of d.c. today. they marched from freedom plaza to the u.s. capitol to rally against what they call the tax-and-spend policies of the u.s. government. derek ward was there. >> they called us mobsters. do you think we're mobsters. they called us nazis. do you think you're nazis. >> reporter: whatever they are, they are angry, mostly at congress. >> because they are going to be voted out. they are not voting the way we want. >> several thousand of the loudest voices against the current administration converged on the district organized by freedom works opposed to what they call big government and its tax policies.

remain under investigation. there's been a recent rise in robberies targeting taxis over the past three months eight cab drivers ve been robbed. in the latest case a week ago a driver was shot in the stomach and robbed outside his home on "i" street. it is upsetting tother cab drivers. >> i think it is wrong for anyone to be shot for protecting what's his. i think everyone should have the right to work and make an honest living. >> reporter: on friday a 16-year-old was charged with assault and armed robbery. two other juveniles were arrested in the crime. investigators say the teens may be responsible for some of the other cab holdups but not all of them. district police have this warning for cabbies. >> to be aware of any suspicious activity they see from their
