dullduing from dulles airport. the man who crashed a bus last week died not from an injury but from a heart attack. the accident shut down interstate 270 for several hours last wednesday. they say after darrell cla bbau, jr. lost consciousness, his bus went over a bridge and tumbled down an embankment. everybody else on that bus survived. a virginia state trooper is recovering toenight after a series of crashes. a tractor-trailer rear-ended a car and pushed it into an existing accident scene. that truckriver was charged with reckless driving. six people i all were injured. starting wednesday, the d.c. government will.i.am pose an immediate freeze on hiring and spending. presumptive next mayor vincent gray asked the current mayor to impose that frze this week. the district has $100 million

today he was buried in arlington cemetary after a helicopter crash in afghanistan. he was profiled on nbc nightly news, one half of an incredible story about patriotism and friendship. >> reporter: under gloomy skies, navy seal brendan looney was buried today at arlington national cemetary, killed in a helicopter crash in afghanistan only two weeks ago. but a midst the pain is a remarkable story of love and sacrific oney was laid to rest beside his best friend. the two became roommates at the naval academy, class of 2004 they hit it off immediately, and they were so close, they were like brothers. >> they thought the same way, they car about the country in the same way, they wanted to serve. >> they wanted to be involved. they wanted to be in the mix. >> reporter: but after graduation, the wars in iraq and

afghanistan pulled them apart, seemingly forever. as a marine, travis was nt off to iraq where he was tgically cut down by a sniper three years ago. at a memorial service for travis, brendan was clearly devastated by the ss. >> he was a great friend and i'll never forget him and i miss him. >> reporter: travis was buried near his hom just outside philadelphia. but when brendan looney was killed last month, the manions learned for the first time that he wanted to be buried si by side with travis. in a tough but selfless decision, the manions had the son disin tered in pennsylvania and had him reburied in pennsylvania next to the gravesite ready preped for brendan. >> this is a tribute to all our graduates killed in war. even here, travis and brendan are only steps apart, one separated by two wars and three years. the two have never been closer

today. he grew in the last year. i found it and he's grown a lot, and he didn't look as good. the sleeves were a little short. sorry, buddy. he's only four. let's take a look at the temperatures today. we got up to a high of only 57 degrees. that's the coolest day we've seen since may 11. rain today just over a third of an inch, but again,ost of us are not going to see much in the waof rain over the next 24 hours. that's the good news. right now temperatures sitting around 51 degrees. rather cool out there. partly cloudy skies, though many of us are seeing clear skies right now and that's going to allow those temperatures to dip down even more. noing to show on live doppler radar so the rn is out of here for now. 48 in sterling, 46 in frederick. sterling, you're at 48 degrees right now. it's all going to depend on cloud cover. right now we are clear across much of the area, but there are some clouds down here to the south and east that are going to try to push back into the area.

if we stay clear for another six hours or so, we could get very, very cold overnight tonight d we may even see some sunshine tomorrow morning. however, if these clouds build back in as they're supposed to do, we're going to wake up to more cloud cover during the morning hours. it's all because of this upper level system, this huge trough of low pressure dipping way down to the south,nd that's going to keep us very, very cool during the day tomorrow and into the day on wednesday as well before things get a lot nicer during the day on thursday and friday. lo at the temperatures, by the way. back to the west, in cincinnati, 50 in st. louis. newmumerous frost advisories do to portions of tennesse you know it's very cold air. there's those areas of low pressure keeping the cool air here, keeping the chance of rain here. maybe a chance of showers tomorrow but the best chance will come during the day on wednesday. partly cloudy, morning sun. 42 to 48 degrees. as we make our way through the day tomorrow, we'll see those temperatures bump up a little
