james madison highway in gainesville. police say a man high on pcp crashed into another car. onlookers were le to save the driver but two passengers didn't make it. darcy spencer has the story. >> reporter: the crash happened at this intersection in gainesvillabout 9:15 friday night. prince wilam county police say the man who caused in firey crash was under the influence of pcp. >> i wish i couldake the clock go back but i can't. e.r.a. debbie lost her 20-year-old daughter, megan, in a fiery double-fatal crash at intersection of lee and james madison highways. the police say the has been who caused the crash, 22-year-old carlos lucas, was speeding and under the influence of drugs. >> i'm him to pay for what he's done. it's not fair that someone as innocent as she was was taken away from us because of his foolishness and -- i don't know,

hi stupidity. >> reporter: police sayucas was driving on lee highway when he lost control of his chevy, cross the median and struck a honda acard which burst into flames. megan, the front seat passenger was ejected an died. r boyfriend was pulled from the burning car by witnesses. another man was trapped in the back seat and died. they had just made a run for kerosene. >> reporter: megan was the youngest of three daughters. she enjoyed working with kids and was talking about going back to school. >> i hope that other people see this and realize that they can't do these kinds of things. cause somebody else could end up the same w that my megan has. and she was a good girl.

she was a beautiful girl. >> reporter: plus say he was charged with driving under the inflnce and possession of pcp. in gainesville, darcy spencer, news4. two people under arrest in connection with the stabbing death of a manassas teenager. the attack happened yesterday afternoon. walking home frs bourn high school and he was about halfway there when he was attacked. the brutal stabbing happened a few blocks from h house. witnesses say the 15-year-old victim was walking down a path used frequently by students, when he was jumped. an 18-year-old boy and another 17-year-old male from fairfax were arrested and charged with murder and gang participation. parents of the 9th grade victim were stunned to learn the violence happened to close to school. >> i don't know what the school can actually do be off school

a car accident in silver spring killed one man and sent five others to the spital. one of the injured, a 1-year-old baby. the accident happened around 3:30 this afternoon i the 11,000 block of cherry hill road. a green van crossed into oncoming traffic and hit a grey suv before hitting a utility pole. two of those who survived are in serious condition because of that accident is under investigation. the yachts name is "no problem." but it had a big one today.

it started sinking in the gulf of mexico. four people were on board when a coast guard rescue helicopt responded to the "may day." their rescuer was lowered on to the boat and used a pump to get rid of most of the water. the boat made it safely back to e marina. no word on what caused "no problem" to take on water. 22 d.c. children went to bed tonight in the homes of their brand new families. hours earlier, they left the d.c. foster system as part of the 24 annual adoption day. crowds of families and their supporters were on hand to witness the signing of official adoption decrees. each child was announced as they join their newfamilies. good news for them. but about 160 d.c. foster children are still waiting for permanent homes. still ahead tonight, we're going to introduce you to quite possibly, the most dedicated family of black friday shoppers
