men. she hit and killed them alongside a prince george's county road. she faces decades in prison. tonight the families of the victims want to know why she's not in jail. >> reporter: 32-year-old jenny matea of laurel convicted of vehicular mans after running down and killing two men who had gotten out of this ircar to exchange information following a minor fender-bender. >> it was the best news i'd heard. >> reporter: she's had two prior drunken driving offenses faces 21 years in prison but she's not behind bars. a judge allowed her to remain free after her lawyers disclosed she's four months pregnant and has an upcoming doctor's appointment. it was another blow for the victim's relatives who have went waiting for more than a year for that justice. >> that shouldn't have been an excuse for her to leave. she should have been detained right then and there. >> reporter: her blood alcohol
