place? >> it was obviously overlooked. >> not obviously, it could be a lie, correct? >> the self-proclaimed propofol expert said he would have never used propofol in a similar situation. >> no amount of money could convince me to accept or take on responsibility because of time or the responsibility of someone and the fact it was a complete off label use of the drug. >> reporter: white acknowledged he is being paid by the defense but doesn't expect to get his normal fees. >> about $3500 a day. but i have not billed them that amount. i don't think they have those resources. >> soon, jurors will have to decide if his testimony casts enough doubt for dr. murray's acquittal. many legal experts say the defense is facing an up hill battle after the prosecution put on a strong and detailed case. in downtown los angeles, stephanie stanton, nbc news.

>> it hops around in your stomach. let's talk about the forecast for tonight. some folks are going to complain about how cool and cold it's going to be. this will be the lowest temperatures we have seen on any halloween going back nine years. 2002, we were at 47 degrees. last couple years we have been in the 60s and 70s. all right. take a look at digital doppler here. you can see where some of the moisture is. a few showers trying to make its way right over the mountains. you can see a few sprinkles. you'll see him later in the 5:00. high elevation presip. some of this could translate around the area. west of the area, then we clear alpine tomorrow morning. by 6:30 tomorrow morning, we are looking at a mostly clear sky arnds the area. throughout the day, nothing but sunshine throughout. as far as thursday goes, we may pick up a few high clouds. thursday, even thursday will
