the yoga franchise says they are pleased to see justice done. the parents of the murder victim made a surprise visit to the store today. they met with employees and did some holiday shopping. they also went to the back of the store and said a prayer where jana died. after one hour of deliberations they found britney norwood guilty. during the trial, witnesses testified that norwood used eight weapons during the attack and said murray was alive the entire time. after the verdict was read, the family was overcome with emotion outside of the courthouse. >> numbness, but gratefulness to the jury. >> hearing we got a first degree murder verdict, it's very pleasing. >> more than anything, i know

the trauma our family has been through. i want no other family to go through this. >> norwood now faces life in prison without parole when she's sentenced on january 27th. investigators are trying to figure out what started a deadly house fire in montgomery county. it happened early this morning in aspen hill. investigators say it began in the basement and quickly spread. when firefighters arrived on the scene, they found a man in the front yard and woman in the bedroom. they were both taken to the hospital. the woman, in her 60s, later died. cain controversy not going away. one of the women may tell her side of the story tomorrow. the crisis is spreading beyond the candidate to the rest of his party. steve handelsman has the developments. >> thank you. >> reporter: herman cain is

new video out of texas is all over the internet today after a father repeatedly hit his teenage daughter with a belt. the father is a judge. the video was taken years ago. it's now generating debate of when discipline turns to abuse. we warn you, this video may be tough to watch. janet reports. >> reporter: the man in this video is texas judge william adams. the girl is his then 16-year-old daughter who has cerebral palsy. >> bend over the bed. bend over the bed. bend over the bed. >> stop!
