captions paid for by nbc-universal television hello, everybody. you actually made it ando did we. this has been a long week here at the "today" show. >> we've been limping through it. >> it's try day friday, november 4. i no sooner got off a plane from seattle with the closing of my show we were right into halloween. >> yes. now it's practically thanksgiving. >> i know. what a week we had here with the kardashians, everything going on with them and justin bieber. >> finally today, this is big news. it just happened on the "today" show. justin bieber spoke out about the allegations a young woman
2:06 am
said she had sex with justin bieber and had a baby by him. he actually spoke to matt and ann and everybody outside and he responded directly. there was no hedging on his answer. let's listen to what he had to say. >> none of those allegations are true. i know that i'm going to be a target, but i'm never going to be a victim. i think it's crazy. every night after the show, i'm gone right from the stage right to my car. it's crazy some people want to make up such false allegations. set the record straight, none of it is true. >> he went on to say, he didn't mention the woman's name. he said, i don't know who she is. never met the woman. she is 20 years old now. >> i personally hope it's a true. he's a big hero to an awful lot of young people. it worries me because there are repercussions of this making an accusation. there is potential statuary rape.
2:07 am
why would she make the accusation and demand a paternity test? that worries me about it. >> there is also a strange thing when one is 16 and one is 18 because in high school a lot of kids are dating, a sophomore dates a senior. that was the way it worked. if they had relations, it would be all that. so matt is on his way, matt lauer is on the way to "where in the world?" >> has he already left? are we going to be matt-free for a week? i don't like that. that's another reason to be depressed. we like him a lot. a lot. >> a lot. you know what we are saying? >> he's fun. >> he was on "dave letterman" last night. they had fun with him having to do with his "where in the world. in. let's look that. >> beginning his tenth season as traveling around the world, "where in the world is matt lauer." number two, travel tips. >> honeymooning with kim kardashian, get refundable tickets. >> there you go. the number one matt lauer travel tip, ladies and gentlemen --

2:09 am
the dollar ain't going to be worth much in five years. think that through. >> if you paid a buck for your ticket, it's on your fridge, you forgot about it. >> he is not one of those guys that is crazed and buys it every day and checks it every day. this guy is this. watch this. >> these are called tongue tattoos. >> who doesn't want one of those? >> take it off. >> it's upside down and backwards, but it looks good. >> i knew i didn't want to do that. that's the kind of thing that shows up on the soup. >> here's mine. >> what does it say? >> tgif. >> it looked like poop to me. >> it tastes like candy. >> and you're not eating candy.
2:10 am
>> i'll do another one of these. this isn't candy, they are stickers. >> they come in boxes of 300. >> why? why? >> so you could be a lot of fun at parties. >> how long does it last? >> they wouldn't last long in charlie sheen's life. >> it's still there. >> it's still toe. >> yesterday we did the shout out to the cleanest and dirtiest cities around the country. the mayor of one of those cities called us. there was a city in alabama that we pronounced opelicka. >> you did. of course it's opelicka because we likey. they were glad to be mentioned one of the cleanest cities in the country. the mayor wrote to tell us about the pronunciation but is delighted. >> another person said one of the dirtiest ones, the one in idaho is where a museum is. it's a cleaning museum. there is an actual museum where if you want to know the history of cleaning, you go there. >> cheers. >> now what?

2:13 am
wait, wait, i'm still trying. where is mom? there you are. mom, she is here. then my mom was teary and happy. anyway. >> the celebrations are just going on and on. that's one of the first things i fell in love with you about. i wasn't faking it. honestly, how much you love your family. i related to you on that level so much. i think it's awesome. >> you and your, both your kids, but especially cass who had a big night. >> one of three. she's got one of the leads in a show at her school called "black comedy." >> which one is she? >> the blonde in the shirt. remember, "i'm okay, you're okay," is it okay to wear shirts without leggings? she's got bicycle pants under there. she plays one of the best tramps you have ever -- it's called acting, i hope. she is very funny. the whole cast is terrific.
