this will give them a sweep of the series. we're not thinking about cincinnati, but just these two teams and where they've come from. every game they've played in the last few years, a memorable one. >> cris: here we go. here's ryan clark. he's going to have to defend that one. he has half the field. you have to get deeper than the deepest in this situation. he was a little short, probably looking for boldin on that crossing route. there's that little nudge. i'm sure it will be talked about by torrey smith. looks like a veteran player got away with it. and it was huge. i remember another guy, santonio holmes, who missed one in a key situation and came back and made a big catch in the super bowl. >> al: speaking of 92-yard drives, that was a 92-yard drive by roethlisberger in the super bowl.

bump-and-run coverage, really giving them a chance to take those shots into the endzone where you get a chance for a long pass interference or the deep touchdown. i didn't understand the defense the steelers were in there at the end. >> the teams with the best records in the afc right now are the ravens and the bengals. the bengals are 6-2. who would you say right now is the best team in the afc? >> i think the ravens are the team you have to look at. they've got that outstanding defense. we saw tonight, their offense, they really believe in joe flacco. he's making throws that they can count on. ray rice gives them a lot. i think they are playing the most complete ball of anyone and getting a big road win like they got tonight is really going to help their confidence. >> the ravens are on the road next week at seattle. in the nfc, it seems clear that the defending champs, the packers, off to an 8-0 start

with aaron rodgers, they are the class of the conference. yet, you do think that they're vulnerable. why? >> i do because of that pass defense. a lot of that is because teams are behind. but when they play outstanding quarterbacks -- we had drew brees on the opening night. he had a chance on the last drive. here is phillip rivers today. put up big numbers, got within one score. they're going to have to play some good quarterbacks in the playoffs. there's a chance they could get upset on a day when rodgers is just a little bit off. >> tony, thanks. we turn now to mike on nbcsports.com. tomorrow mike will have his monday ten pack. among the topics of interest is whether or not illegal hits involving contact with the helmet should be reviewable. >> they absolutely should be. the game moves so fast.
