the hots for him. somehow it starts a romance. she would be a cougar because she is 90 and he's 80. there's a ten-year difference. he could be her cub. >> that's good. >> i like it. >> i like that. if you missed kathie lee on "regis and kelly" let's take a look. >> that's it? >> no, no. >> hardly worth getting in your spanx. >> geldman did bring up sexual tension. it's perfectly human and normal and natural to experience sexual tension when you work with someone over the years. honest to god. did it ever happen to you? >> when i did "hope and faith" with kelly, i got -- >> oh, oh. it is a classic show they had. >> you know what? >> come on, tell the truth. >> no. >> a big no. >> geldman would tease me.

he didn't want frank to co-host because he said you have no sexual tension with him. i would go, really? even with our children? we had it twice. i said geldman you wouldn't know sexual tension if it slapped you in the face. we always had a running gag about it. you know, regis and i had something so magical for so many years that i left tv thinking i've done the best 15 years of television i could personally ever do and thought i would never go back until i met hoda woman. honestly, i said to the producers, what you and i are feeling now in our show is so reminiscent to what regis and i had. to have it happen twice in your life is miraculous. i am so grateful for it. i had my hodi waiting for me. kelly says, can i sit in some time for you? i want a job where i get to drink. i said sure. >> we have the best jobs in tv.

we have a couple of lovely ladies. >> hall of fame baseball player named steve garvey and orel hershiser. guess what? hershberger does the great hair. i get the two of them confused. >> easily confused. dana is orel's wife and candice is steve's wife. we were hoping the boys would come but they are getting their hair done with sally hershberger. sorry about that, dana. >> we have a new host for the golden globes. >> he did it last year. >> controversial ricky gervais is back. remember he got a lot of heat because some would describe him as funny. some would describe him as cruel. anyway, he is going to be hosting again. he is going to be a lightning rod. here is what i thought about him. sometimes he was funny. what i didn't love and i remember clearly was -- >> the ambush thing. >> yes. he would criticize somebody, give them a jab and then they would walk out to deliver an

award so they didn't see it coming. it wasn't as if they are sitting in the audience and yucking it up. >> did that seem tad mean to you? every time he is here i adore him. he is so funny and so fun to be with. he's got that attitude, which is -- say what you want to say. i think it's funny. i respect that, yet at the same time i cringe. >> there are a couple of ads out there that are very, very controversial. get ready, put your breakfast down. beniton has an ad campaign called unhate. does shock make you buy things? that is what this is. they are featuring photo shopped pictures of people who are -- people kissing, world leaders you wouldn't normally see. let's move on. it doesn't have to be that long. these are all photo shopped, obviously. this is their campaign of unhate.

they are trying to see if you'll buy benetton again. this is the second set of ads. >> that wouldn't make me buy. that would make me run the other direction. you said does shock make you buy something. when you find the first hair on your lip and you're shocked by it, you buy nair. you know what i'm saying? >> what do you mean? >> if you find a hair on your face and it's a shock, you buy something. but not that kind of shock. >> these are mothers and daughters selling lingerie. okay? pop that up. these are ads. they say they are not models. >> they are real mother and daughter? >> yeah. according to the company, they wanted to highlight the beautiful relationship between two women. they are not professional models. would you buy lingerie if you saw that ad? >> my favorite picture i have ever, ever taken with cassidy when she was about maybe 6. we both have our hair up and we are in a big, big bubble bath in the bath tub.

every year the aspca recognizes animal heroes as well as people who made a difference fighting for animal rights. >> this is the president and ceo of the aspca and is here with some of this year's winners. so nice to see you, ed. how did you pick? >> it was difficult. we have hundreds of applications. when you have heroic people doing things for animals and heroic animals. you raise the value of animals and understanding of the public. the more we value animals, the less they will be subjected to abuse and neglect, the stronger laws we'll have. this teaches about the value of animals. in the end, maybe hoda will get a pet. >> she has one. his name is jay. tell us about ricochet. >> ricochet is gorgeous with the pearls and the mink stole. tell us what makes ricochet unique. >> i think what makes her unique, she is a dog that stayed true to herself what she wanted to do. i allowed her to be who she truly is.

have major recipes for you after this. i'm adam berg from the weather channel. we take you through the next several days. beautiful sunshine across the eastern 2/3 of the country. we're watching this next series of systems to work through. one will drop through southern california, bringing weather to the southern plains by monday. that lead system will bring hefty snows in the northern rockies and it is cold. look at the pink, highs in the teens. we find more of the 60s and 70s. a little chilly for the northeast. but we have day we go through more of that south wind works in. saturday, great for college football. however, if your football team resides across the northern plains, snow and wind. so even areas that don't pick up a lot of snow, we think wind for almost all of this. 70s and 80s through texas.
