that the 57-year-old victim was leaving the giant grocery store. a man in his 30s walked up with a weapon and forced the victim into his own car. >> the suspect took control of the vehicle and proceeded to drive the vehicle with the victim along to various atms. >> reporter: this happened at 2:30 in the afternoon. the abductor forced the victim to withdraw cash from atms in montgomery county. >> at one point the victim had talked to the suspect and the suspect then agreed to let the victim go. he relinquished the vehicle back to the victim and the victim was released unharmed. >> reporter: the victim got home just before 7:00 p.m. and called police. the whole story had other shoppers at the giant shocked and disgusted. >> it's amazing we are not safe going to the grocery store. >> i shop here two to three

times a week. never heard of violent crimes. >> reporter: that kesha has shopped here for years and she knows not to let her guard down. >> you have to be cognizant of what's going on around you and carry my mace in my hand instead of my purse. >> reporter: the victim was not hurt at all and didn't need medical attention. this investigation is ongoing. the police just released more information. they say the suspect possibly cut his finger at some point during this incident. they will be talking to the grocery store and the banks to see if there is video that may help lead them to the suspect. back to you. now back to the breaking news in arizona. a plane crashed in the superstition mountains east of phoenix. this is video of flames from the wreckage. investigators say the plane

to as thanksgiving gets started in a couple hours. d.c. police are on the hunt for a man who carjacked a woman's suv with her 13-month-old daughter inside. it happened at an exxon station on south dakota avenue northeast. the carjacker drove off when the woman got out to pump gas. he abandoned the car with the baby still in there. he got away with another man in a teal colored infinity. the baby was not hurt. we're learning more about the woman accused in a carjacking over the weekend at tyson's galleria and her ties to the gang ms 13. her name is stephanie schwab. she testified in a murder case involving her former roommate. you might recall she was the ms 13 police informant who was murdered along the shenandoah

river. in addition to the carjacking, schwab is a suspect in two recent bank robberies in virginia. the georgetown university students arrested in egypt will be detained four more days. that news comes from egypt's news agency. the student said that he is being treated well and has not been harmed. he is one of three american students taken into custody monday night accused of throwing fire bombs at police in tahrir square. the mayor is trying to get the washington redskins training operations back in the city. he spoke openly about his trip to the new nfl training facilities in tampa bay and talked about his behind the scene effort to build a training facility on the grounds at rfk. the mayor says it is realistic and he wants to see it happen. >> this could be a catalyst for

a person broke in to cook and eat a burger and fries. he turned himself into police. he was charged with burglary, criminal mischief and theft. he didn't remember the event and was not in his right mind. people hoping to buy eggs left empty handed at target stores. target dropped its egg supplier. they did that after they learned of accusations that company was badly mistreating chickens. that leaves many of the stores without eggs and many customers trying to find alternatives. >> i understand why they did it. i don't want them to be cruel to the animals. but it's not the best time frame to do it. >> target understands this is a busy time of year and working to restore its egg supply as soon as it can.

drown we don't know how deep that water is. there is flooding in some counties. a major flood stage up there in frederick county. the rest of us saw a half inch to an inch half of the rain and that rain is out of here just in time for thanksgiving. if we had today's weather tomorrow that would have made a lot of people upset. but i think tomorrow will be fantastic. look at the high temperature, 64 at 10:00 this morning. the low temperature, 46 degrees. that is the current temperature out there right now. 8/10 inch of rain today. and this could be the best thanksgiving in a number of years. the temperatures climb above average tomorrow. right now, 46 degrees is the current temperature. a dew point of 33. winds out of the north-northwest at 15 miles per hour. currently 39 in hagerstown. 41 in gaithersburg.

45 in manassas. and fredericksburg at 48 degrees. the wind gusts over 20 in washington and fredericksburg and andrews air force base. that puts our wind chills in the upper 20s and lower 30s right now. gaithersburg with a wind chill in the mid-30s right now. is it going to be a chilly evening and a very cold start to tomorrow morning. the radar not showing anything as far as rain is concerned. all the rain has moved off. if you are waiting to travel until tomorrow here is the only storm of consequence in portland and seattle and san francisco. that is it. the rest of the nation will see a fantastic day as far as thanksgiving is concerned with a lot of sunshine nationwide. that's very unheard of this time of year. chilly and windy during the evening tonight and early tomorrow too.

i think the winds 5, 10, 15 miles per hour but that will bring the wind chills down into the upper 20s and lower 30s tomorrow. but with plenty of sunshine we will warm up nicely. by 10:00 tomorrow morning will the feel nice out there. by noon or 1:00 it is fantastic. friday more of the same. more sunshine and warmer as high temperatures climb 10 degrees above average. clear skies, breezy and cool. wind chills in the 20s to lower 30s in most areas. the actual temperatures in the 30s. winds tomorrow northwest at 10 to 25 miles per hour but not too bad. a great afternoon. 53 to 58 degrees with plenty of sunshine. and how about this for a couple days off. 64 on friday. 65 on saturday. 65 on sunday. we will see late rain coming in on sunday but not too worried about that. but the storm it's will be one
