raleigh that is rain right now, raleigh, atlanta, georgia, when that meets the cold air coming up from the south. so because of all the icy conditions that we will have around the area tomorrow, we've got a winter weather advisory. as you said, it does cover the area. we expect from 0.1 to about 0.25 inch of ice north and west and that ice the freezing rain, a little sleet, that could hang on a little longer tomorrow morning. instead of just shutting down around 7:00 or 9:00 could last in some of our northern and western suburbs until about noon time. 34 current temperature right now with a light east wind at 3 miles per hour. so we've got snow on tap for 11:00 and freezing rain for 5:00 and 7:00 a.m. tomorrow morning with a temperature of 33 to 34 degrees. with that, there's going to be more moisture hanging around for sunday so it's not just saturday that we've got to deal with. i'll have the details coming up with your fourday forecast in a few minutes. back to you. >> sounds nasty. thanks, veronica. see you in a few minutes. the impending weather has road crews on alert in maryland
