houston's ex-husband bobby brown did attend today's service as an invited guest, but only briefly. he and the members of his party left shortly after the service began, but the circumstances of their departure remain unclear. live in new jersey, i'm mark barringer, back to you. right now closing arguments are underway in the former uva lacrosse player. julie, good evening. >> reporter: hi. well in closing arguments still under way, prosecutors called yardly love's death a murder while george huguely's attorney says it was an unintended tragedy. in minutes this case will be in the juror's hanlds to decide. george huguely arriving on a day that could decide his fate. dave chapman's voice was shaking with emotion as he urged jurors

to think said chapman, can you imagine the sight and found sound and fury of what was upon her? prosecutors say that george huguely should get life for breaking -- prosecutor chapman says huguely's intent and premeditation is clear in an e-mail he sent to love just days before her death in which he wrote, i should have killed you. chapman strongly urged the jury to once again watch huguely's videotaped statement to police in full. he suggested the jurors play close attention to his lies. but in their closing arguments, huguely's attorneys accused the prosecution of -- all the things

that happened that night were not careful, not stealthy, not intentional, but stupid, loud and clumsy and intoxicated. george played a role, but it's overwhelmingly a tragedy. earlier in the day the defense called its final witness, d.c. neurosurgeon, blunt force trauma to the dead did not cause yardly love's death. >> i think she died of oxygen deprivation. >> that contradicted the state's evidence that said yardly love's brain caused her death. there will be six charges to consider ranging from first-degree murder to a larceny charge for the stealing of yardly love's computer. >> julie, a question for you, if the jury does get the case tonight, is it likely they would be sequestered?

she was found about 11:00 this morning near the entrance to the rock creek park way. police are looking for the driver who hit and killed woman in prince george's county this afternoon. it happened on route 5 near surat's road in clinton. police say they did find a piece of the car that hit her, they believe it is a late model. last night the house of delegates approved a same-sex marriage bill, it has the support of governor martin o'malley, but they will collect signatures to force a referendum on these issues and let voters decide. jack johnson set to start his prison time today. do you have what it takes to be

nice. a beautiful day outside today. it's all going away. >> yeah, it's going away, but it won't be gone for long. in our winter without winter, today we flirted with 60 degrees in nearly every neighborhood around the washington area and tomorrow there's still snow in the forecast, not a lot, keep that in mind, but there's at least a chance for some snow coming our way at least 24 hours from now. what a gorgeous day, hopefully you have the day off to go sit in your circle or park. beautiful day for it today, bright and sunny and mild too. we're still at 55 degrees at the 6:00 hour, and it's not going to be all that cold tonight, even with the clear skies. the temperature never falls below the dew point. so we will not get any colder than about 33, 34, 35 degrees. so we'll stay above freezing, that's going to be the case

we go, through tomorrow, as early as 9:00, 10:00 tomorrow. then the snow line inches its way up through the washington area, and then quickly pulls right back out of here and sunshine is back in for monday. how about snow around here? nothing going on through the overnight hours, sunday services, no problem at all. by 4:00 tomorrow afternoon, that's when the snow starts to sneak its way into the area, and if we get any steady snow, it will be between 4:00 and 11:00 tonight. amounts maybe as much as an inch or two in the northern suburbs, one to three down to the south and west. so overnight tonight, clear and quiet, chilly but not cold, overnight lows in the 30s, and then for tomorrow, cloudy, cold, breezy, snow likely, beginning mid to late afternoon tomorrow, and all gone before you get up on your presidents day holiday on monday morning and then mild near 60 again by the middle of
