someplace else. >> sure. >> i don't know. i have mixed emotions. i've traveled with young children before and it can get very -- you know, it can get dicey sometimes. but at the same time, you're one of several hundred passengers. and everybody's safety is at risk and everybody's enjoying the flight and -- >> yeah. >> i don't know. i see so much parenting -- i don't know these parents and i wasn't on the flight so i'm not making a judgment about it, but i see so little true parenting anymore when i look around. i see kids running the asylum. >> yeah. >> and the minute you give them that leeway, they're going to do it. >> yeah. it was weird. i was in the time warner center, a little shopping mall near my house. there was a woman pushing a stroller with a 2-year-old. she said do you want to go inside or outside, honey? inside -- please, tell mommy. tell mommy. it was going on forever. you're watching something and like, oh, my gosh. we went to a restaurant upstairs and a child at a table and big family around.

good morning. i'm meteorologist crystal egger with the weather channel, walking you through your forecast this week. one of the biggest stories is going to be the warmth across the majority of the country. it's out in the east where we expect light rain to move through, mostly in the morning through new york city, up through boston, most of the stormy weather will be happening in the northwest. heavy snow will start to drape all the way down into the sierra where we need it. but look at all these temperatures climbing, 65 in minnesota, 80s across parts of the south, near 80 in atlanta for your tuesday high, 70s in the northeast. not only above average by 20, 25 degrees but we're going to be breaking records from midwest to the northeast.

a few showers in new england on wednesday, still stormy in the northwest. that heat persistent here. in chicago, 77. these temperatures are more like may or june than march. so we're skipping a couple months here as far as the temperatures go. 72 in chicago with a few rain showers from the hai ohio valle down the appalachians. enjoy the climb in the highs because it's going to change once the cold front passes through. saturday, a few scattered thunderstorms across the mid atlantic. we'll warm back up to 64, which is not bad at all for march in new york city. this snow will slowly move its way through the intermountains west. it's going to be storming here for many days, 46 in seattle following a soggy week, 73 in kansas city. get your latest weather weekday mornings.
