6:19 pm
look at this, this is an important number. 3.56 inches. so more than 3 1/2 inches below average for the rainfall for the year. so we really need to see some rain. that storm in texas would normally move our way. but not going to happen this time around. we'll talk about it in a minute. winds out of the north right now at 7 miles per hour. we're going to see those numbers fall very, very slowly this evening. so we're going to be talking about a fantastic evening to get out and about, do whatever you want to do outdoors tonight. eat dinner outside, looking good. 66 in gaithersburg right now. 75 in fredericksburg and 70 back to the west around winchester. we had some showers trying to move through. but as expected, they are quickly dying out. there are some storms, though, eastern kentucky and eastern portions of virginia. if you're traveling down i-81 tonight, you will run into some storms. the biggest storms, though, still out to the west. you've got the typical spring

6:21 pm
about 10 to 15 degrees again. before we move into the day thursday. more clouds, and cooler air moving in for the day thursday. most of us should see some sunshine. but you can see the clouds just down to our south. thursday will be cooler. and that cooler air will settle in. tomorrow we go up, and then we go right back down. so temperaturewise we'll be a little bit on a roller coaster the next couple of days. a great evening tonight. nice and mild, 58 to 63 degrees. tomorrow afternoon, or rather tomorrow morning starting off on a nice mild note. temperatures about 10 to 15 degrees warmer than they were this morning. mostly cloudy. much warmer with the northwest winds at 5 to 10. tomorrow afternoon mostly cloudy. a few showers. but most of those will stay to the south. temperatures between 70 and 76 degrees. 60 on thursday. we'll be rather cool on friday. right now, sunday, easter sunday looking very good with a high of 70. i expect a very warm weekend. and then the potential there, you see next tuesday, a high only in the 50s. that pattern, our pattern is
