provide security to the president have been relieved of duty. it hap when in colombia where the president is a attending summit of the america's. jackie benson is at the white house trying to get answers. jackie? >> doreen, these allegations if true are a real black eye for this law enforcen't agency. what we have heard sound like the things that college students do on spring break. not people assigned to protect the president. now, just a short time ago, we received a statement from ed donovan, a spokesperson for the united states secret service based here in washington. it confirms there have been allegations of misconduct made against secret service personnel in cartagena, colombia prior to the president's trip. because of this those personnel are being relieved of their assignments, returned to place of duty and are replaced by other secret service personnel. the secret service takes all al ainvestigations of misconduct

seriously. this matter has been turned over to the office of professional responsibility. which serves as the the agency's internal affairs component. the personnel changes will not affect the comprehensive security plan that has been prepared in advance of the president's trip. and for those who may not know it, what happens before the president visits a country in a situation like this. secret service agents are sent well in advance. days, weeks to secure the area to make sure they know everywhere the president will be at all times make sure the areas are secure. apparently these allegations, which according to "the washington post," and online report, filed at 9:30 tonight, they quote a federal law enforcement association representative saying, that he had heard the allegations involve consorting with prostitutes in colombia. again. some very, very, very damaging challenging allegations for the united states secret service tonight. back to you. >> thank you. new at 11:00, video releases of

the gunman who tried to pull off a lunchtime robbery at rit aid. he shot a clerk in the back. the manhunt continues. >> police hope the video will help solve the case. the shooting before 12. 30. in the afternoon in the 1400 block of rhode island avenue in northeast d.c. shomari stone is there with new images of the gunman on the run. shomari? >> reporter: good evening, police hope some one can recognize the suspect in the chilling video you are about to see. take a look at this surveillance video from inside the rite aid pharmacy, rhode island avenue northwest d.c. a man walks in dressed in khaki baseball cap, red zipper sweatshirt and black sweat pants. he struggles to open the register, second later pulls out a gun, points at an employee demanding him to open it up. what happens next, is too graphic. police say the suspect shoots the clerk in the back. look for yourself.

he calmly walks out of the store into the broad day light. around 12. 30. in the afternoon. >> shocked. completely shocked. >> reporter: police searched in the air, on the ground, with canines. an all-out manhunt. this employee who we won't identify showed up to work after the shooting and talked to her concerned co-workers. >> they was outside crying. i asked them, what happened. they just yelled, my manager's name. i'm look what happened? they said that he had got imme crying. >> we showed the video to people in the neighborhood while police continue the search. >> been here for 46 years. >> ever seen anything like this at this rite aid. >> no, not as brazen. in the daytime. that's brazen. >> now, medics droech t s drove employee to the hospital. police urge any one with information or recognize the man shown in the video call the d.c.

police department. live in northeast d.c., i'm shomari stone, news 4. >> in the country's midwest, a tornado hit norman, oklahoma. causing damage but no serious injuries. the national weather service, issued a rare warning about storm condition for tomorrow. the second time in history a high risk warning was issued 24 hours in advance. states from the midwest to texas could be in the cross hairs of this violent storm system. storm 4 meteorologist, veronica johnson is joining us with more about possibly happens tomorrow. >> life threatening situation from texas northward up towards kansas. let me take you back to norman, oklahoma you. can see some of the damage that did occur. winds along with the tornado that touched down. were up to 70 miles per hour. there was reports too, of lots of hail in the area, to golf ball sized. multiple sightings of tornadoes. damage throughout the area and possible injuries. they'll get ready to do it all

an arlington man was beaten, robbed, stripped in baltimore on st. patrick's day. baltimore police used the video that went viral to make an arrest. the victim was disoriented after returning from a night of partying. a group of people took the man's belongings as onlookers lasted and pointed. the man attempted to retrieve his item thousands, he was punched and stripped. police arrested aaron parsons in connection. >> tuna linked to salmonella outbreaks. the food and drug administration says a yellow fin tuna. used to make dishes like sushi and sashimi. it made more than 100 people sick across the country. 12 hospitalized. no one has died from this outbreak. former vice president dick cheney is ready to get back out in the public after his heart transplant. scheduled to speak tomorrow at the wyoming republican state convention in cheyenne.

it was a hero's welcome for jj the bulldog. jj is the mascot in training at georgetown university. he will take over for jack the bulldog, once he learns the ropes. georgetown theology professor, reverend christopher steck brought the puppy by car from california. he believes big jack will make little jack make a transition. so cute. >> he enjoys being around other dogs. other dogs nicely. which was one of the things i was concerned with. trying to bring on a new mascot, had the old mascot. >> j.j. was donated to the university by alumni couple whose children currently go to georgetown. cross country with a 4-month-old puppy. >> gets along well with others, send him to congress.
