tonight hear from the woman in the hospital attacked from the street. and a teenager in custody. his two brothers are stars in the nfl. but first we're going to start with breaking news at dulles where a bomb squad is on the scene. shomari stone joins us live with the latest. shomari? >> reporter: agents wrapped up their investigation. everything is clear. this could have caused anxious moments for folks out here at dulles airport. let's take a look from chopper 4. this video shot around 30 minutes ago. the virginia state police bomb squad on the scene assisting dulles police. this all started around 8:00 tonight. a tsa dog smelled and alerted agents to a cargo container for qatar airlines. supposed to be flown to qatar in the middle east. agents searched the container. didn't find anything suspicious. the good news -- no flights were

delayed. live, dulles, shomari stone, news 4. >> the brother of nfl star's vernon and vonte davis is accused of attacking a woman in petworth and could be the man responsible for similar attacks in the same neighborhood. jackie benson joins us live with an interview with the victim. jackie? >> reporter: doreen, first i want to show you something chilling. this is the street where the suspect's family lives. take a look down here, a few yards away on georgia avenue, that's the scene of one of the attacks. this is a photo of 19-year-old michael davis as he was arrested near sherman circle northwest about 9:00 last night. minutes after a young woman also 19 was randomly, brutally attacked by a man wielding a claw hammer. the victim spoke to news 4 by phone.

>> reporter: one day after urging residents to walk in pairs, following a series of three unrelated blunt force attacks in the petworth area one resulting in the death of a 66-year-old tourist, the police chief had this to say. >> i can tell you i feel very, very much more comfortable now that this person is in custody. >> reporter: community reaction is one of shock. that one so young may be responsible for so much random bloodshed. and sympathy for the suspect's family. he is the brother of two respected nfl players, vonte and vernon davis. both of whom grew up in the emerson street house. the family said to have struggled with michael's problems for years. >> we think this is a case of somebody that its mentally ill. and somebody who acted out did not take his medication. >> right now michael davis is charged with last night's

attack. that is very likely to change. reporting live, north west washington, jackie benson, news 4. >> the secret service has a new stricter code of conduct in the wake of the prostitution scandal involving agents in sclom be ye -- colombia. the agency specified its rules. officers are banned from binge drinking, visiting nonreputable establishments and from bringing foreign nationals become to their hotel rooms. agents were accused of bringing prostitutes to their hotels in cartagena earlier this month while preparing for the president's visit. new details in the corruption case against harry thomas jr. prosecutor recommending maximum prison sentence, 48 months. thomas former ward 5 council member will be sentenced in federal court next thursday. thomas pleaded guilty in january to two felony charges for a scheme to steal more than $300,000 in grant funds that were intended for youth sports

donors to hide edwards' mistress instead used money for himself. young admitted using $1 million for his personal use. >> tonight, horses are recovering after somebody stabbed them at a farm in reston. the horses are trained to help special needs kids. volunteer at the spirit open equestrian program found three horses with deep slash wounds. the horses are trained to help kids with disabilities connect and to build self-esteem. >> somebody fried first on her. and ribs prevented. it's not easy to cut horses. >> there is something, wrong with some body that will hurt a horse like that. >> police are trying to see if there is connection between the stabbings and a man stumbling at a nearby park. >> turns out a metro bus driver did not have viral meningitis after all the we told you about metro's warning monday. people who took route 52 and 54 last friday have nothing to

set off fireworks just for d.c.'s pleasure. i've don't think that was the case though. high temperature today. 64 degrees across the area. nice night for it either way. 50 degrees the low temperature out there this morning. today another day below average. we have seen five of the last six days below average. tomorrow will be six of seven. and i think even sunday will stay below the average mark into. high temperatures today, around that 64-degree mark. now falling done to 52. north winds. 10 miles an hour. that northerly wind is going to continue to pump numbers into the 30s and 40s in most areas. 43 right now. 46 in frederick. as long as the winds stay up though. and more than 5, 10 miles an hour. the temperatures are not going to fall too rapidly. going to be after 1:00, 2:00 in the morning. start to see the temperatures fall they will fall into the 40s. that's why the national weather service has much of the area under a frost advisory. howard, montgomery, loudon, freeze warning, winchester,

martinsburg, frederick, hagerstown area. cold temperatures make sure you cover up any plants tonight. south, east of i-5. no worries. temperatures should remain above, not just the freezing mark. maybe close to 40 degrees. storm 4 radar. showing no rain across the region. as i showed you earlier. there is a big storm. back towards the west. a lot of rain falling here. big time thunderstorms. but out ahead of it. take a look. this is the warm front. you can see very spotty rain right now. this is going to come together over our region. once again not going to produce a whole lot of rain. cool temperatures. yeah, going to be here with the northerly flow. continue, tomorrow, eventually shifting off to the east and southeast. but notice just a few showers around during the afternoon. heaviest rain will be tomorrow evening. so you will need umbrellas there. even that rape probably just moderate at best. nice weather on sunday. sunday, right now is looking really nice. but yes, temperatures still a little bit below average. here is the way the rain is going to shake out. once again. most likely moving in after the
