from yesterday. i'm going to take you all the way to arizona. this happened in a hurry as they normally do. this is known as a dust storm, also known as a haboob. the drivers were forced to make a pit stop due to the big area of blowing dust that only got worse. the visibility dropped down to zero in a hurry. once they pulled off to the side of the road, all the dust kept going. by the time they hit the road again, they had to clean the cars off. as far as our winds today, we've seen them up to 25 or 30 miles per hour. they'll settle down some for your evening rush. the wind out of the northwest today. that's that big arrow you see there blowing through our area and those little ripples of cloud through our area are rather pretty. as far as any rain, no rain for us. our next chance comes in a

police are investigating a texas couple after a second grader took a loaded handgun to school. investigators say an 8-year-old boy took the gun out of his bag and it fell on the floor in his classroom. they say it's a miracle the gun didn't go off because the safety wasn't edge engaged. classmates told the teacher who took the boy to the office. the boy told police he didn't have a reason for taking the gun to school. now his mother and boyfriend may face charges for allowing him access it that weapon. >> evidence emerges today
