welcome back to the stanley cup finals. overtime presented by geico. seems like a long time ago these teams scored a goal. you pointed out about the middle point of the game the devils needed to make line shifts and they have done it. have they stuck with it? >> they have. moved kovalchuk around, ponikarovsky. any time new york started to generate offense. they really liked the change by peter deboer, coach of the devils. >> mike: let's look at stamina and who may end it. >> eddie: you have to look at clarkson for the devils. one shot on goal but missed good opportunities. for the kings and jonathan quick i look at mike richards. he's had good plays in the offensive zone. it's never a bad play, especially in overtime to get the puck to the net.

scuderi brought it back from the checkered line in. around it comes for stoll. picked up and dealt back up for kovalchuk. marched back out with ponikarovsky. kovalchuk dealt it in. ponikarovsky went after it. quick was able to get there. scuderi right back along and turned over to gionta who sent it back. salvador protected it there. went from the backhand to the corner where scuderi is able to control and get one. they came back to salvador for a shot. that was directed up high by gionta. kings trying to get safely out and they get to center this time. salvador can spin. right back up to carter who marches on with bernier. a couple extra moves there. ridden off by scuderi. bernier protects it behind. pob popped loose to scuderi. back on for the try for richardson. rifled off the stick of greene. he whirls it back along for carter.

tonight, a contentious abortion debate on capitol hill. the question is, should parents have the right to choose based on sex? news 4 learns an iconic pizza shop plans to close its doors after decades of feeding washingtonians and presidential families alike. a new video shows a truck slamming into a bar. we will tell you what happened to the patrons. first, to a dramatic scene on the streets of maryland. a man runs out of a house with a gun chasing a woman and her children. after neighbors scoop up the kids, the man disappears back inside and then a gunshot and the house exploded in flames. tonight, darcy spencer spoke with a woman that lived on lorraine street. she saw it happen. >> the neighbor whose house burned down was knocking on my door and said, help, help. >> reporter: monique noble says

her neighbor ran to her home for help. the woman's husband was threatening her with a gun. >> i saw the gentleman come out with a gun. i was walking towards the family. he put the gun in his pants and was still headed toward them. the neighbor got the woman and her kids in a car and drove them aaway to safety. the husband then set a vehicle on fire in the driveway. >> the husband threw something in the car and blew it up. noble says he ran inside his home, she heard two shots and the house went up in flames. >> this was a domestic argument between a husband and a wife. the husband asaulsaulted the wi and went into his house and took his own life. she and the family moved on to lorraine drive the same day two years ago. she knew there were troubles but nothing like this. >> it hurts because it is

family. 12 years. she was like a big sister to me. >> reporter: prince george's county police have not yet released the name of the man who shot himself inside the home. in temple hills, darcy spencer, news 4. nine people in the hospital after a truck ran a red light and slammed into 30 students crossing a street in california. three are in critical condition. the accident happened right outside a high school 50 miles west of los angeles this evening. an 11th grader was driving the pick-up truck. he immediately stopped to help the injured. california highway patrol has impounded that truck. officials believe there may have been some kind of mechanical problem although they did not elaborate on that. take a look at this video. a pickup truck crashed through a window and right into a popular bar in minnesota this afternoon. incredibly, everyone you see here survived although six people were injured and taken to the hospital. the bar's manager who narrowly

missed getting hit said the truck was going very fast. they believe the 51-year-old driver had a medical condition and lost control. >> a vote expected tomorrow on a controversial bill aimed at banning sex-selective abortions. republican representative, trent franks, introduced the bill during a contentious debate. frank cited a number of studies showing girls being aborted more than boys especially among asian immigrants. democrats reject it saying it would force doctors to scrutinize and profile asian patients. a 22-year-old babysitter was charged with child neglect after the children under her care wondered away. they say lashika harmon told three young boys they could go outside and play while she stayed inside with the toddler. the oldest, a 7-year-old got separated and wound up at a taco

of bethesda died when the plane they were in crashed after the collision. the pilot of the other plane managed to land safely. duncan was part of the nasa medical team on site during the chilean medical rescue. police are looking for thieves that broke through glass storefronts of 11 businesses in columbia. all the burglaries happened late tuesday night into wednesday morning. in each incident, the thieves crawled to avoid tripping at larm and sto the alarm and stole cash out of the register. >> a bus dispatcher charge in a crash is going to court later than expected. the trial was set to start in june but it has now been continued until october. prosecutors say chen told the driver of a sky express bus to stay hyped the wheel a year ago even though the driver said he was tired. that driver fell asleep at the wheel and swerved off of the highway in caroline county.
